+ Good for use as a diary, for making notes, etc

- It is advertised as easy to use which may be the case if you are good at I.T. I have still not been able to get the internet/e-mail facility working. Had I known this would be difficult to set up/understand I would not have bought it.

+ Light, portable, great to have all contact info in one place plus photos

- Not much info on how to use it so you have to make it up as you go along. A more detailed instruction booklet would have been great. Feel there are more things it can do that I don't know about.

+ Reliable, easy to use, clear display

- None

+ large screen. reasonable battery life. good diary softwear. a variety of 'personalising' options.

- the softwear provided with the unit caused problems on my Mac. I will not load any other softwear for the Palm on to it.
the documents application offers only one type of document.

+ Love the expandability and being able to add software that gives itthe capabilities I like. Like playing avi movie files on SD card.

- Would have appreciated official support for linux as the desktop computer (I have to search unoffical forums for guidance and use of Kpilot)
Would have liked a camera for stills/motion video
A web browser that works properly would also be nice!

+ The style, the size and ease of use

- The available Acrobat Reader is not very good as the screen keypad is frozen accross the screen which greatly reduces the viewable image

+ small enough to fit into my pocket easy to use, and brilliant for quiz nights, although my main usage is for work.

- Would of liked to find the hard cover as part of the original purchase

+ Improved graffiti writing area showing the track of the stylus. far fewer mistakes now. Improved battery life on previous Tungsten E model.

- Very few. I have not yet mastered the mp3 aspect of the handheld and one of the programs I downloaded to assist with this, Rhapsody, is not yet fully functional in UK, it appears.

+ its easy to use and light weight and small enough for the pocket.

- when purchasing the product, it did not explain fully what was required for it to be used. We eventually found out you had to have a wireles connection to operate it. I was led to belive it had one in the product and nothing was required when i purchased it. But overall it is a good product if wireless connection is about.

+ handy handbag size

- not yet!

+ I was keen to upgrade my old Palm device and wanted to be able to backup easily using Bluetooth or WiFi so the T/X was the ideal product. I don't understand why people want to have this type of device linked to a phone, so there wasn't a huge amount of choice in the end.

- It took three days to sort out the HotSync process - the Palm helpdesk was OK but it was just frustrating. It works fine now but if I wasn't reasonably savvy with computers, I would have really struggled.
