+ Really small and lightweight. Very simple to use. Took it out of the box, had a flick through the manual and we were away. Ideal for someone who doesn't want anything complicated. Touch screen is fab and makes navigating menus really quick and easy. We bought it because we have a new baby and wanted to capture his many 1sts, and because its so quick to switch on we have. You simply open the touch screen and its on and ready to go. We are really pleased with it!

- No Bag provided. Still image quality not good but then it's not a camera so not really an issue.

+ Very easy to use, lightweight, this is my first camcorder and I'm really pleased with this model.

- Only issue found so far is when recording outside in bright sunshine the screen acts like a mirror so you only see yourself not what you are trying to record. I'm sure this is the same with all camcorders of this type.

+ Pretty average in most areas, but ...........

- The camera was obviously designed by some 'office-twerp' who has never used a camcorder and who's cheif concern was aesthetics. It has a serious design fault. The microphone is on the top of the camera. This means that it picks up any wind sound, (from any diection); background noise from behind the camera and even my breathing! I have just had my footage from Broadstairs Folk Week ruined and I am very angry. Any expeerienced camcorder user knows that it iis sometimes necessary to point the camera away from wind and other noises. With this camera, this is totally impossible. This design faullt canccels out the many good points that the camera has.

+ Very good product for just over £200. Good size and very easy to use plus it is all recorded onto a hard drive, which is 1/4 the memory space of my laptop. Touch screen, playback and sound all very good. I like the fact that you can turn the camcord on but it keeps the lens cover closed. You can also take pictures with it.

- I can not fault the camcord in anyway and the battery time is fine and it does the job but I just don't understand why they did not add one with a longer time and make it a selling point. Also when you buy this Camcord happy hunting for a case that it fits the way you want. If you are looking for a small pouch for your small camcord I would recomend the Lowepro Apex 60 AW all weather camera pouch for around £15

+ I read the which review which slated this . My friend had said it was goo so i borrwed hers and tried it and it was fine. Which said you can hear the zoom and disc on playback - but you cant and I tried it in a quiet room. They also said the mike is nt good - well I recorded Springsteen playing and if thats good you know its good ! So I bought one and I'm really happy with it. Easy to use, good quality video and sound is fine. Best is its so easy to transfer to PC - you just use explorer and drag and drop to video files.

- Stills could be better - but I bought it as a video and I have a camera!

+ can't believe how small these new camcorders are - battery life was fine on my last holiday - who films for more than 90 minutes?

- without a view finder difficult to view lcd panel in very sunny conditions - suppose this helps to keep it so small.
