+ Really puts my mind at ease, especially in the middle of the night i just have to look to see if the green light is flashing and i know my baby is breathing
A real must have for all paranoid parents!

- sometimes picks up vibrations when i walk around cot and detects it as a breath but great for night time as noone is moving around the cot

+ Monitor gives peace of mind as you can not only hear your baby, it tracks movement. If the heartbeat stopped it would alarm.

- Getting the sensetivity right on the sensor pad. If baby squeezes to one end of the cot the alarm may go off as it will not pick up movement.

+ Can monitor temperature of room as well as breathing. Alarm is loud which is great.

- A little tricky to programme and a bit annoying to set uup- you need to put wood under the cot for it to rest on!

+ Excellent sound quality
Good design with nice night light
Lots of different setting options for sound & movement
If you forget to turn it off when you pick your baby up it beeps once to remind you before the alarm goes off and wakes the whole house
Offers great peace of mind when you move your baby into their own room We bought this monitor after having bought a BT digital one because we wanted one that offered a movement monitor. This monitor is so much better than our BT one and now wish we had just bought this one first. It gives a much more accurate temperature reading and the sound quality is second to none. We moved our baby out of our room at 6 weeks and this monitor offered the peace if mind needed to be able to have a peaceful night sleep without having to check on the baby every few minutes. A very good buy and well worth the money.

- Can be difficult to get used to all the settings compared to other monitors
Was a bit of a hassle to set up as you need to get wood to go under the mattress but once done it is easy to use
Battery life on parent unit could last a bit longer

+ Product offers peace of mind with a good external range.

- No adverse comments about the product itself, however, the programming instructions could be written more clearly.

+ I have the same monitor for my older son (18mths) which I purchased 6 yrs ago when my eldest was born and I also bought the same for my niece when she had a baby. It gives me peace of mind and hasnt let me down. The newer model is even better as they have improved all the things that were'nt so great about it 6 yrs ago!! very portable, temp guage, out of range alarm so you dont have to switch off imediatley because of the terrrible racket, more controls and choices, great reception with more channels and a night light. For my money it's the best baby monitor on the market!

- really wracked my brain to think of some, but as I said all the things that are bad about my older model have been improved with the new one so I cant think of any bad points

+ Without the monitor I would never have slept for worry that something could be wrong with my first born baby. It was always something I assumed people would use if there was an underlying health risk, or a previous scare, but in fact I believe every parent would benefit from the reassurance this little machine gives. The Angelcare was recommended to me by a friend, I had no worries setting it up and it's very easy to use.

- None at all except it is quite noisy when you forget to switch it off after lifting little one out of the cot...but at least you know it works!

+ This product gives you great peace of mind. Excellent product would highly recommend it. Sound, movement and temperature are all monitored so the Angelcare has it all. It is very sensitve and you can alter the sensitivity. Just remember to turn it off in between feeds as as soon as you take the baby out of the cot/crib or moses basket there is an alarm after 15 seconds, which is hard to remember in the middle of the night! you just need to remember to turn it back on when you place the baby back,

- Fairly expensive however worth every single penny.

+ Looks very lovely in our daughters bedroom. Like the fact that it can also be used as a night light. We were very impressed when we discovered that the unit is sound activated (ie it only switches on when there is noise in the room so the parent monitor is free from crackle). Love the digial temperature display.

- The ticking might be a bit annoying for some people (we find it very reassuring) - but it may well be that the ticking can be silenced (we haven't investigated). According to my husband, the menu is a bit complicated for him.

+ Easy to operate and install. Great functions, like room temperature display, alarm when batteries need replacing or out of range, alarm when baby doesn't breathe within 20 seconds. Tried if the non breathing really works with my partner and it does!

- Not really any, maybe the lead between station and flat monitor which goes under the mattress could be a bit longer.

+ The product is value for money as it gives us reassurance that we will be alerted if necessary and gives us the chance to have a relaxed sleep. All monitors are expensive so this product that has the additional motion sensor is well worth it. The night light is very useful when trying to see bottles and make up feeds without fully waking your baby.

- Abit complicated to follow the menu to select different settings.

+ - Really easy to use once set up
- Can adjust the sesitivity settings which really helps
- Gives you a peace of mind
- Has a soft night light - which is really handy in the middle of the night when baby is stirring (really useful feature if you dont have a dimmer switch in babies room)

- - Having to put a board on the bottom of mattress- I think this should either be sorted or a board be provided considering the price of the product
- Cant switch the breathing monitor part off when at the cot monitor, so if your baby has fell asleep in car seat etc and you dont want to disturb them then you cannot just switch the monitor on, and as I thought, a case of plug the lead out of the back you need to change the setting on the monitor which is used for hearing your baby
- Cost of product, I know the safety of your baby is priceless but I felt this is a very expensive product just for what it is

+ Breathing monitor really works and gives us real peace of mind. Temperature guage alarm is a plus when you are not in the same room as your baby. The belt clip makes life easy to keep the monitor on you and it doesn't weigh alot so you don't notice it.

- The colour is a bit naff but the product works so that's the main thing!
