Very efficient use of energy, The ability to delay the finish time by individual hours not blocks of hours as with some other machines. Previously proven reliability and support.

Operating instructions supplied with the machine is lacking in detailed guidance. It mentions on page 7 that 'Easy-Care' is also available as a Short Programme but there is no guidance on how to select this option.

Shortest cycle time is still 55 mins.

Very good washing machine, best I've ever had. I did quite a lot of review reading before buying and decided on a Bosch due to their reliability and performance. Not dissapointed with this machine, nice big drum and quick cycle times. Bleeps when its finished to let you know although I read several reviews putting that as a negative as you can't turn it off. What it will do is bleep a few times every 10 mins or so until you turn the machine off - quite a good feature I think.

Doesn't have a half load wash, which would be useful especially since it has such a large drum.

I like the fact that this machine is so quiet and the time delay button is a really good feature and the clothes don't seem as creased after the wash which helps when ironing.

The machine is very good value for money, with alot of features. It is quiet, has a handwash function and you can choose the strength of spin i.e. 1400, 1200, 900.

I like the count down so you know how long is left and you can also use it to select the quickest program. The child lock is also very useful and needed for adults aswell as children to stop you accidently changing your program. I also think the alarm is great to let you know when it has finished, however it does mean you wouldn't feel comfortable going out whilst the machine was running. Also very easy to use.

There is no quick wash or half load (however I never do halfloads anyway and quick never seem to wash properly!). Could be clearer in letting you know which is the most energy efficient program - I just presume it'll be the shortest. It could look better, as I was seriously tempted to but the Indesit Moon instead of this.

Reliable machine that does not over complicate with too many programmes.

Detergent dispenser drawer does need to be left open regularly after use because it is prone to get mouldy

Second Bosch washing machine that I have purchased, the first one lasted nine years without any maintenance at all. Hoping this one will be the same. Digital display shows wash times which is very useful. Excellent spin. Very happy with it.

A minor gripe is clothes tend to come out more creased than on the previous Bosch I owned whatever spin speed is used.

A tilted drum would be nice to allow that stray sock to be added after the cycle has started. Auto-weighing of load to determine how much water is required would be good (maybe it has this?) Owners manual isn't very well laid out. Couldn't work out how to change volume of alarm.

It is an excellent washing machine, very good wash programmes with good wash times also.

Very simple to use. The machines is quiet and the 1400 spin is brilliant- the clothes are almost dry sometimes!

At the end of the cycle the machine gives three beeps to let you know it has finished. But then it does that every minute for 10-12 minutes and it doesn't stop when you open the door, only when you switch the machine off. I find it really annoying that there is no way to switch the sound off but that is the only bad thing on a very good machine.

Quiet machine, variety of programmes that can be mixed and matched according to load. Have always found Bosch very reliable and able to cope with heavy loads such as dirty dog blankets!

Build quality is that bit better, so it's not as noisy as other machines.

It'll beep when finished. And keep beeping until you turn it of. This function can be switched off (thankfully), but the instructions on how to do that are a bit complicated.

Automatically adjusts water level to volume of clothes in drum, Set finishing time required. Cold wash. Cannot set very high speed spin for delicate clothes, which could damage or at least crease them. Low noise level. Beep when finished now has a volume control, including an off position.

Very easy to use controls - tactile and no fiddly buttons. Easy to use and much quieter than previous machines I have owned. Clean washing and efficient spin cycle, which isn't too noisy either. Best feature is timer so can use overnight on economy 7!

Easy to use, quick wash cycle of 55 mins on a 40 degree Easy Care wash, count down timer / symbol display to show at what point in the cycle the machine is in, quiet operation. All I hope is that this machine lasts at least 11 years like my previous BOSCH.

Good choice of settings and digital display very handy. Much quieter than my last machine. Nice large drum, especially good for larger loads.

1400 spin can only be used on cotton washes - didn't realise this at the time of purchase but hasn't really bothered me.

This washer comes up to the standard I expect from a Bosch. My last washer was a Bosch and lasted me 10 years and our washer engineer advised us to get another when the first one broke down after 10 years. The display is very usefull as shows the time left on that cycle and the 1400 spin speed is excellent taking out all the water on sweats and joggers so tumble drying doesn't take as long. Overall an excellent product

Good Solid build. It's german, of course it's good quality. 1400 spin speed is surprisingly quiet, clothes come out dryer than my recently scrapped Indesit WL163 1600. Easy iron. Simple controls. Time left indicator and audible finish alarm. Height adjustment a doddle due to third rear castor adjustable from front! "A" for energy and water. Cold fill only. 2 year guarantee as standard.

Front adjustment castors are for the nimble fingered. More or less faultless.

Very quiet and very easy to use, as there is no need to read the manual beforehand.

There is not a quick wash programme.

Firstly, it's quiet. The soft touch buttons are a lovely feature and I like the programmes available to use. The mixed fabric wash cycle is only 45 minutes and there's a timer feature allowing you to see how much time is left on the programme you have it on. You also have a choice of what speed you'd like the spin cycle to be on.

Still quite new and haven't really had enough time to know what's bad about it ... does the job, does it well, I couldn't really ask for more.

Doesn't have a quick wash cycle so you have to do it on easy care programme to reduce the washing time and if you want to do a spin for a single item you have to wait 5 mins or so for the programme to run, Apart from that a great machine

Digital display counts down the time to end which is handy. Programme choice is good and seems to have a setting for all items.

Touch sensitive buttons, if the dog wags it tail or you just brush past the control panel and touch one, it will alter the spin or put the programme on hold. It bleeps to let you know when the door can be opened. This is annoying as if you leave it on when you go to bed as it will bleep and bleep!

Good value for money, quieter than I expected, looks good with touch sensitive buttons. thoroughly recomended. When my last machine stopped working i called out an engineer for a quote, he mentioned he had recently bought a new machine, I asked him which make - Bosch, because the last forever compared to other well known makes

This machine does every thing that it is needed to do with no problems at all. We like the time left to finish cycle can be very useful. The cold fill made the plumbing work very simple. e find the time left to finish cycle is helpful.

Good short cycle time - great for my young family! Lots of different programmes, and flexibility to customise the settings.

Could do with a specific 50 degree wash as sometimes a 60 degree wash is too hot but 40 degrees isn't hot enough

Simple to use and does the job - it is our 2nd Bosch washing machine.

Noisier than I thought it would be but still much quieter than previous machine.

Does not move about the floor when spinning even at the 1400 spin speed and even with a small load or a large loan it stays well and truly on the floor. The extra longer spin speed really does take a lot more water out of your washing and really does help to get you washing dry faster even if you dry it out of doors or in your tumble dryer. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone. The short 30 minute wash is just right for small loads and still spins at 1200 spin speed with out any rocking and very quite motor can hardly hear it unless I go into my kitchen. Really good value for the price I paid.
