The indicator that shows which hob-ring you are using should be above the knobs. You do get used to the position eventually though.

Great hob. Easy clean. Cooks quickly at required temperature.

The burner in the main oven hasn't worked properly since i bought the cooker (3 weeks ago). Canon sent a service engineer who couldn't repair it and had to phone for a spare part. The faulty part had been withdrawn for a design modification which leads me to believe that the cooker was sold to me when canon knew there was a design fault. Its been a pain having an oven which doesn't work right but once it is fixed i will be quite happy with my purchase. Makes me wonder whether i should have bought a different make though!

Easy to clean. Removable inner doors. Cooks fish very nicely (doesn't dry it out). Looks like a cooker, not a stainless steel box.

Racks & trays for small oven are a bit fiddly Instruction manual does not tell you which setting to use if you just want to re-heat something. The cooker has different settings for meat, chicken, fish, etc., but the manual does not tell you which setting to use if you just want to roast some potatoes or vegetables only.

This cooker is good looking and enhances the look of my kitchen. It is very easy to clean and with the glass drop down top makes extra working surface. I am now cooking cakes, like never before, and the turn out better than ever as I have complete confidence in the oven.. I feel the cooker is very safe and very easy to operate and I feel I can rely on it totally, the small oven is as good as the main oven. The gas burners all work well and are just as I need them to be, in fact I am a very happy Canon Cooker Owner.

I found the handles protruded a litle too far with my design of kitchen, however this would not have been a problem with a larger kitchen. I found it a little annoying when leaning towards the stove the switches kept going into ingnition mode by being pressed against. I would have liked a click on the top oven tap to tell me when it was properly switched off between the two functions ie. oven and grill.

Well made and looks good. Lights in both ovens and good sized windows in both mean it is very easy to keep an eye of your cooking. Minute minder easy to use and useful. Removeable glass inner doors are very easy to clean. And the design of these doors prevent breadcrumbs etc from the grill getting stuck inside the cavity of the large oven door because the inner door is very seperate from the outer one and you can see through to the floor, so any bits and pieces go straight down on the floor.

When using the grill most of the heat seems to be pushed out the front by the fan. I don't think I will be able to do any grilling in the summer months, because it is much too hot to stand in front of. Not very good at toast because it cooks in an uneven way. The hob has two large rings and two small. The small hobs are fine but the large hobs are too large for most of my pans, which means you can only use them on half power, otherwise the flames flick up the sides of the pan. I cook for a family of four and so I use average sized pans. The simmer isn't great but I've never found a cooker that is. The top oven is useful but not as hot as the bottom oven. Still trying to get used to the oven shelf positions. To cook a roast dinner the potatoes have to be nearly touching the top of the oven, if you bring them down one rung the meat dish is too low to cook properly.

Relatively easy to use. Good looking as cookers go. Lightweight doors with good visibility. Reasonable value for money.

Top oven does not seem to get as hot as my previous Cannon Pearl which this replaced. Cook from frozen food definitly takes significantly longer to cook than cooking times indicated with products. The grill can be a pain to light as you have to keep bent down to see if the burner is established or not. It would have been better if the indication of which knob controls which burner was not obscured by the actual knobs. Placing the illustration above the knobs would have been much more user-friendly.

Found it very easy to use - I had a Cannon before and it's the same. Everything cooks beautifully and evenly. I would strongly recommend this to everyone.

The design at the back is different from my old one - the glass on the hob once opened needs to opened carefully and the wall needs a little 'buffer sticker' to prevent the lid from banging on the wall. The cooker must therefore be positioned slight forward.

Had to have the ignition unit replaced twice in the first few months but seems to be OK now. The dials are on top of the hob indicators so you have to bend down to see which one you are turning on! The handle on the grill tray has to be screwed on otherwise its a bit flimsy and falls apart. Unless you push the tray right back and over the lip at the back of the shelf the grill door won't shut.
