+ Easy to set up, colours good, speed good. It's great that the flap opens automatically to print the paper. The main reason for purchasing this printer was the wireless capability and it has not let us down at all - it works great. I was worried about setting it up as I am no 'techie' but I followed the instructions and only had one hitch (because I didn't read them properly), but I just went back into setup and was fine. Scanner and copying work well too - it's so much easier if you just want to copy as you don't have to log onto a computer. So far so good and it was definately the right choice after much searching and reading reviews.
- None really - more of wish that it could do double sided printing. It has to places to pick paper and it would have been to have these on the same side instead of opposite ends.

+ Quiet, quick, excellent print quality. Efficient scanner and copier. Not too large.
- Paper tray fiddly and irritating. Ink more expensive than my last printer even though you only need to replace the cartridge that has run out. This is because you cannot use compatible cartridges because they come without the chip and you have to transfer this from the original cartridge. I did try this but it was a nightmare and after all my efforts the printer would not recognise the cartridge.

- WI~FI didnt work where I wanted it and had to move the printer to within 3 metres of wireless transmitter...

- Wireless set up needs routers with specific encryption standard, mine a 1 year old Linksys does not seem to have it. Takes ageas to get going it seems and then the speed is average in my view.

+ Prints well, ideal for use with my laptop, good that you can copy without having the computer turned on, card reader useful. Generally very pleased would have given it 10 if signal strength did not cause slow printing at times.
- Print speed depends upon strength of signal from network to printer, I bought to replace Canon Pixma IP4500 which can print directly onto printable CD/DVD which was useful at times, MP620 does not offer this.

Photo printing
Superior-quality printing is delivered by an impressive 9600×2400dpi* resolution and 1pl ink droplets. The print speed for a photolab-quality 10×15cm borderless print is approximately 41 seconds*.
The ChromaLife100+ system** provides long-lasting, beautiful photos via a combination of Canon’s FINE print head technology, certain Canon genuine photo papers and dye-based inks.
Print without wires
Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless printing means you can print documents and photos straight from your computer without a connecting cable. This All-In-One is also network ready as it features an Ethernet connection, enabling you to share your content over a local network.
5 Single Inks
For convenience, the 5 Single Inks can be replaced separately. This provides a more efficient system as it minimises ink wastage and helps to save money. A Smart LED on each ink tank provides a visual indication if a colour is running low or needs replacing.
User-friendly functions
A wide range of features are available to improve the user experience. Quick Start allows operation within seconds. The 6.2cm TFT display makes PC-free operation clear and concise, while the Easy-Scroll Wheel has been designed for easier menu navigation. Two paper trays let you load two different types of media at the same time – plain and photo paper.
Software
Manage your creative projects and create photo albums and calendars with the bundled Easy-PhotoPrint EX software. The intuitive software assists with things like choosing paper type and scaling, and also includes Auto Photo Fix for image correction options and red-eye reduction.
Scanning
Superb colour scans are delivered at 2400×4800dpi resolution. Additional features include scan to memory card and USB function, and an Auto Scan Mode automatically detects the type of document you want to scan.
