It is absolutely amazing. This was a replacement dyson for one which was over 10 years old. Perhaps you just get used to it, but the new one is absolutely awesome compared to my old DC01. With 5 dogs in my house, trust me, it really works on pet hairs.

I keep going on about how good it is, so therefore I'm the one who has to keep on doing the hoovering.

Nozzle for getting into corners is angled, which means if you have the wrong angle you cannot get in to it. very bulky. Quite noisy. takes some getting used to the detachemnt nossle, not user friendly.

Good for cleaning, but a bit bulky and nozzle attachment is biggest bug bear.

It is great for picking up our dog hairs which we have had problems with before.

Find it awkward to use on the stairs.

Am very pleased with the vacuum and would certainly buy another one if the need arose.

easy to use the instructions straight forward good long lead to do the stairs the suction fantastic i have to long haired german shepherds and the amount of dog hairs it picks up is amazing my carpets when i have done them look new i have recomended to a neighbour with dogs and she as now purchased one and loves it too.

a bit big and bulky but i had a old dc9 so just have to remember it picks up more.

Tremendous suction power - really good for cleaning dog hairs from a moulting golder retriever. Instant availability - get it out of ther cupboard, plug it in and go, no fitting bits together before you can use it. Very very easy to empty - no bags = less expense - you simply hold it over the bin and empty it, contents of dustbox doesn't go everywhere, just in the bin.

I guess, by definition, there must be some, I'll let you know if we find any.

Great suction and especially when moving between rooms with different types of carpet without adjustment.

Don't like the hand held extension coming out of the handle, you have to extend it right out so you can use it at any angle.

Very pleased with purchase but think it could still do with improvements.

Too heavy, doesn't pick up hair/fluff from carpets anywhere near as good as the DC05 I used to have. Too clumsy to use as effectively as the old design. Would not recommend this machine.

Better than our previous Dyson.

Will remove animal hair from all types of surface with ease. As all cat owners are aware cats like to sit in the sun, whether your curtains are in the way or not! With perfect ease you can remove such hair with the attachments without sucking your curtains up the tube! What more can I say?

Cleaning the carpet on your stairwell. Not the easiest to manouvre, the extension tube will not stretch all the way to the top.

Very difficult to remove tools from wand after use. Also wand very unbalanced and uncomfortable when using tools below waist height.

A really powerfull vacuum with astonishing suction. I had already vacuumed when it arrived but wabted ti try it out. It managed to get another half a container of dust and pet hair from what I considered to be clean carpets! No pet odour when vacuuming either.

Bit heavy for carrying around and if you knock anything the tools have a tendancy to fall off.

Overall excellent. I would and have recommended this rpoduct to others.

it is meant for houesholds with pets and it doesn't dissapoint excellent at getting rid of cat hairs from the carpet, best vacum i've had for ages.

Does what it says in the advert, never loses suction, ever. Can be used on all my carpets, hardwood and laminate flooring. Does not create dust clouds at any time.

Its a little bit bulky and heavy to use, but thats about it.

We have 3 house cats and as a result a lot of hair on the carpets. Other vaccume cleaners we have had (and we have been through a few), have bearly looked like they have done anything when used. The dyson makes the carpet look like new every time! Its cleaning at its best! I can not stress how impressed I am with its performance! If it blew up tomorrow, I would be straight out to buy another without any hesitation...

A bit heavy for lifting upstairs and a bit noisy.

Can use on carpet or hard floor by manuall turning brush off. Long hose to clean stairs. Free animal hair rotating hand brush excellent on out sette at removing cat hair and for cleaning cat hair off those hard to get corners. Wish i had bought it before. Works as well as a cylinder cleaner on the hard floors

I am only 5ft2" which makes lifting a tall clumbersome vaccum cleaner up and down stars a little awkward

Suction, fab, great for cleaning stairs...waht a diffetrence on carpets!! Didn't realise carpets were so dirty!! Good for doing pets blankets etc...good tools for suites, matress etc - highly recommend product!!

Excellent pick up of both dog and cat hairs. Upholstery attachment also very effective. Easy to use, dust collection easy to empty. Great for use on both carpets and hard flooring as well as stairs and cobwebs, etc.

Can't think of any bad points. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone.

All in all one of the better cleaners for our household (1 dog, 3 cats).

It is very light and easy to use all the on board tools are stored well and are always at hand.

There is nowhere to store the turbo tool on the machine.Compared to some other vacuum cleaners the Dyson is rather exspensive.
