Can't be easily networked

It was cheap, and performs general printing, scanning and copying well. The separate ink cartridge design is efficient and the cartridges are very cheap compared to other printers (though this is difficult to compare without a page-per-cartridge figure for different printers).

It doesn't scan multiple pages into a single file, which wasn't clear in the product description. The paper feeder is rather flaky - many times multiple pages are sucked in, or pages not fed in at all. I have not been able to get the "print only black" option to work - when I select this option in the on-screen print menu, pages still print out in colour. It was not stated that the printer comes with a set of cartridges, so I ordered a set of coloured cartridges I didn't really need, as I rarely print in colour. My printer came with 2 sets of instructions and start-up discs, and it wasn't clear which should be used.

Slow on Normal Print, Bad Quality Economy Print but fast, Ink Runs out VERY quickly- for that I would not recommend. Black ink runs out within 15 prints of text with only 10 lines worth of writing.

Advert said it prints at 30 ppm, actually prints about 3ppm.

photo printing gives very good quality and quite fast.Copying docs; very fast and print quality is very good.Also individual ink cartridges which can be purchased as a pack or just the colour you need to replace,very good.

Has to be switched on,can`t be switched on with PRINT command and no voice prompts to alert you to p.c./printer, cannot communicate or out of paper,unless I haven`t set it up.But still great all round printer.Excellent value!

Could do with purchasing another ink cartridge at time of purchase as the first one runs out really quickly (but this is advised in the manual)

Simple to use, fast print and good quality, i would recommend this 3 in 1 printer.

It is pointless printing in draft mode as the print is so pale you cant see it.

Good for small office where printing, faxing and copying documents are the main requirements. Easy to set up.

No bad points - but ink cartridges supplied with the machine ran out very quickly. Hope the replacements last longer.

The printer can print images and photos to the edge of the paper and the software is very user friendly

It's a little large and can take a while to warm up.

I have printed a few photos & done ordinary pageprints. No complaints, very pleased with my purchase.

When copying there is no facility to increase the size of the copy without using a computer. This was available on my last Epson All-in-One (CX6400)

Very easy to set up and I was up and running in no time. Picture quality is excellent, I print a lot of pictures of my daughter's favourite Rock Bands, and she is delighted with the colour and clarity of them. I would definitely recommend this printer to all.

1. Ink capacity rating - 5out of 10. not good

Good value, no problems with it except doesn't like printing on glossy card. (probably no different to most printers especially in this price range). Ink cartridges need replacing fairly quickly but are much cheaper than some other brands. For my purposes (home use, occasional work use) I'm extremely happy with it.

Paper is quite fiddly to load, and ink cartridges need replacing quite frequently but aren't too expensive. It's also quite noisy.

The facilities available on the machine for the price are excellent. The general working of the machine is very good and I found the paper feed was a lot easier and positive than my previous Epson 3200. I like the idea of having separate colour and blcak and white cartridges

It maybe me at 79 but I do not find the "reduction to fit on paper size" so satisfactory by placing copy away from corner for if copy not absolutely flat it shifts back into the corner as the lid is closed. There are so many periodicals printed on strange size paper just slightly bigger than A4 these days

Easy to set up for both normal printing and photo printing and the wizard and set up for photo printing is easy to understand with a decent quality of printing. It is also light and brilliant that scans, and prints normal and photo printing.

The instructions and boxes that come up to notify me on my computer are in German, so i obviously don't understand them.

ink dries up quickly if not in constant use. will not print if one ink is nearly empty.

the quality of the screen & sound is great - it's our first family computer and i can't keep the kids off it - which was exactly the point of purchasing. Going for the bigger screen definitely a good bit of advice. I've been surprised at how quick it is - i didn't think home computers could work at close to the same speed as my office system.

setting up wasn't much fun - the plugging things in bit is easy to follow but the loading of the internet was a pain - not being pc literate i have no idea where the fault for this lies however so may have happened whatever system i bought.

good colour printing

paper feed is a real pain, if I put more than one sheet of photo paper (120gsm) in at a time it takes several sheets in and jams. SO i cant load a lot of photos and leave it to get on with it.
