It has a lot of connections, its easy to use, its non-reflective so it really can be seen from any angle without looking at yourself. Can be used with both NTSC and PAL signals with no problem. The quality of the image is crisp without being annoying.

Blacks in bad quality movies, or VCDs look pixalated. This can be adjusted by fixing the contrast and other image values.

The TV is absolutely brilliant, so easy to set up and picture quality fantastic.

The only bad point is that it is that the TV is so good - my girlfriend takes control of it and I am relegated to watching the one in the spare room

Overall good points are size for value of money, strong and vivid colours, design. It is a lovely television and worth every penny.

This TV is stunning if you are looking for a good value HI-DEF TV then this is it. Picture quality and sound are excellent.

Style and ease of use

The sound quality is its poorest aspect. Some vibration/distortion when volume is raised above 32!

Excellent picture from analogue, digital, VHS, and DVD ( no HD source tried yet). Easy to set up. Good connectivity 2x scart, 1x component, 3 x HDMI, PC, etc.

The Program information on digital channels stays on a little too long and would be better at the bottom.

Should have got the 100Mhz version as there is some image fuzziness with movement.

IT TOOK 2 WEEKS TO DECIDE WHAT TV TO GET AND THIS TV IS FANTASTIC. EVERYBODY RAVES ABOUT THE THEATRE MODE BUT I PREFER TO TURN IT OFF WHEN WATCHING FILMS. ITS A GREAT TV FOR THE PS3 AND GOT IT AT A GREAT PRICE.

YOU HAVE TO ANGLE THE REMOTE JUST RIGHT FOR IT TO WORK.

Picture quality is not so good if you are to the side of TV, this is my first LCD so not sure if all are like this?

Switching between TV and DVD is not simple.

Ww would prefer to have the Freeview information banner at the bottom of the screen (or the ability to select between bottom or top)

Excellent Colour and ease of use

Clean lines and very light in weight, Fast reponse. Easy to set up.

Remote control buttons and layout could be better.

Nicely designed piece of kit with more connectors than you can poke a big stick at - am very happy with my purchase! It also has in-built free view which saves space and an array of the connectors are presented at the side of the screen making unplanned connections a doddle if you've already mounted your screen. Although I paid a wee bit more than I could have had the same size of screen for, the peace of mind that comes with buying a Sony Bravia box more than makes up for it.

Picture & Sound both good quality. Easy to set up, and good, clear instructions in handbook. Freeview included, but also accepts Sky Digital. My DVD recorder works well with this set - I encountered many problems with my previous set.

Good picture quality and overall build quality

I think it is very good TV set having really good quality of image and sound. Lot of useful input and output sockets which allowing for connection of various devices including PC or laptop. I am very satisfied from this purchase.

Smart, understated design rather than outright flashy. Sound quality very good, even from the built in speakers (TV obtained as a replacement for an LG which had constant sound distortion issues at low volume). Picture generally crisp & clear. Lots of input ports. Simple to set up.

Image can suffer from some blurring, but this isn't common. The channel name & number display is shown at the top of the screen and if you have the program description option enabled the box can cover half of the screen - I'd prefer it to be at the bottom of the screen and be partially transparent. In-built freeview guide isn't the best although adequate.

Quality

HDMI means that I can no longer use my coax arial cable connections around the house to other tvs. I therefore cannot use the HD quality to its fullest intent.

Nice slim design with a nice matt finish. I like the fact the control button are on the top as opposed to the side like some tv's.

The channels take quite a bit of time to change which is disappointing.

buttons are one top of the tv and stand is designed so a toddler can't push the tv over. No reflection from sunlight in the room.

lots of hdmi inputs, vga for the best XBOX 360 picture and component aswell!

A very minor point but the freeview programme listing is a bit condensed making it difficult to read the full title of programs.

Really easy to setup and use. The manul controls are all nicely hidden away at the top of the set, rather than being on the front. Very good vewing angles.

It's an LCD, so if you sit close (4' or less) you really notice the pixellation aroun dsome objects (but it looks grand when viewed from further back).

Sound is amazing. I was really not expecting built in speakers to be this good. Picture quality is also very good. Lots of tweaks for picture and sound quality. There a million inputs! Freeview tuner picked up all channels.

TV guide is at the top of the screen - very annoying. Some backlight bleeding at each corner. Remote has to be pointed directly at the sensor on the TV. No swivel stand. Even with these bad points, I would buy this TV again.

The picture quality on HD is absolutely fantastic.

It's really picky but I haven't worked out how to make the VM box default and it's AV4 on an HDMI cable. Perhaps that's just me

Pictures quite good if you're prepared to fiddle with the menus. 3x hdmi inputs. 2x rgb enabled scart sockets. VGA pc input.

Better TV's available for the same price or less. Cabinet is very poor fit around screen. Sony products are certainly not the quality they once were. Gets pretty hot at the back.
