Very easy to set up, picture is amazing!

Superb picture quality and depth of colour even without HD signal. HD brilliant. The screen size (37) is perfect for a smaller room. Plasma better than LCD for this screen size particularly for watching sport events.

Image quality is excellent. Sound is okay but would have preferred True Surround with satellite speakers. I did a lot of research before i found the set i wanted and several weeks later i am still being impressed, and actually watching already seen dvd's and seeing more in the picture.

Excellent picture quality even when viewing tapes recorded on lower quality machines. The picture sharpness and clarity seem enhanced somewhat, an improvement from my previous Sony TV; the colours are very true to life, with no blurring or splashing of colour. I am looking forward to seeing how a High Definition picture looks. The digital facilities are also excellent.

The picture quality is outstanding - visibly better than any LCD I have seen. I was also impressed by the comparatively low power consumption for a plasma, and particularly the low standby power.

There aren't any really. I don't have a cinema TV sound system, and so rely on the internal speakers, which aren't outstanding, but still pretty good considering the size. Also when switching between digital and analogue, I sometimes am not quite sure where I am. The on-screen displays don't seem quite logical. However this will be immaterial when we go all digital. But these are both very minor niggles.

Great Picture-Deep Blacks, No Refresh rate unlike LCD, Sky "non HD" looks amazing, why botther with Sky HD. Must buy if considering new T.V. Also Great Comaptibilty and Connections

Sound is tinny of the original Speakers, but i use the home cinema speakers as the speakers instead all the time, and it sounds amazing

I've been generally pleased with the picture quality, its nearly as good as my 36"PD50

There isn't much bass/deepth to the speakers, it lacks the punch of the 36"PD50

The picture quality is great on this product and with simple start up instructions it was easy to install.

We've had the Panasonic TH-37PX70B for a couple of months now, before we had an old 26" wide screen which in it's day was very good, but NO match for this. It's sleek, stylish and delivers everything the adverts say. Blach IS black and the colours are crisp and sharp. On top of all that its simple to use which helps me alot because I'm in the league of the kids baffle me with the speed they can control most things Hi and Wi. all in all I would say to anyone who's swithering as to should I or should I not. The simple answer is get one you'll not be disapointed.

The only point I would make is the sound can BOOM if you have'nt got it set up correctly, I am planning a 5.1 sound system and that'll be the end of any messing about with sound for films.

I actually purchased this for my mother in - law. The picture is good, sometimes pixals can be blotchy but think that is due to the digital signal quality rather then the TV. I am thinking of upgrading to a new TV myself, and affter seeing this in action I would purchase one myself.

Picture is fantastic, we watched a nature program in HD, it was like being in the sea with the fish. It was easy to tune and set up. Build quality is very good, with a solid base which swivels.

Excellent picture quality from both freeview and cable exceptional picture quality through HD had a 40" LCD before i purchased this model and there is no comparison on picture the panasonic has deeper colours the black levels are second to none so the whole picture is crisper brighter and more lifelike

Sound not as bad as some but still could be improved ,but saying that i never use the sound of a t.v as it is better viewed using a surround sound setup

Slightly on the heavy side. Also risk of screen burn if icons (channel name etc) are left on screen for a prolonged period of time. Bit of an inconvenience having to change channel every couple of hours but the tv more than makes up for that.

Absolutely fantastic product looks sleek, great picture and works well with SD images in freeview. UPscaling also excellent with our Sony DVD player. We bought this over an eqivalent LCD product after seeing the quality of plasma over LCD. We didn't want a large tv so 37" was great for us.

Close up picture poor. Time it takes to change between channels.ie fron No 1 to No 5 takes up to 4 seconds.

The picture at this price is sensational and absolutely wipes the floor with any lcd I've seen anywhere near the price point. Particularly for SD pictures LCD cannot touch it. I use mine for normal sky, Xbox 360 and DVD's and cannot fault it on any level. The sound is decent. I generally use external speakers but for built in speakers they are not bad at all and have more than enough volume than you'll need, if lacking a little depth. Also, although not as snazzy as the samsungs the design is very nice. Looks stunning in our room and has a very simple timeless design. The settings are easy to use and the 3 main picture settings (cinema, normal and dynamic) give good variation and are eay to acess so you can swich between them.

Only 720p and not 1080p. However at 37 inch 1080 isn't actually necesary. For the 42 inch 1080 may well be a bonus though. The frame seriously collects dust, but i'm sure this will be the case with any gloss black finish. Difficult to find bad points to be honest. For the price I really don't think it can be beaten. We were torn between this and the samsung. My sister bought the samsung and after seeing both in a living room, for normal tv viewing there really is no comparison. the Samsung may JUST edge it on HD content but for SD, that most of us are still only watchin, the Panasonic wins quite comfortably.

Superb picture in both SD & HD

I loved this from the moment I got it. It is sleek, flat and sexy. The stand I bought it with is of a very good quality and the whole kit is perfect even for a small room. Picture quality is good generally even on some of my older DVDs.

It got very confused with my sky box and which one of them was controlling the screen ratio. This I sorted by swicthing the scart control off on my sky box. Panasonic subsequently told me that it could be a faulty scart lead. The remote control is not overly responsive for some reason and, because I want to link the sky box into my amp, I can't have sound through the plasma unless I plug more cables in. Just means I have switch the amp on even if it is to watch ten minutes of news at breakfast time.

the picture on sd is brilliant,no shadow,no blocks or picsiles even with fast sports like footy... forget lcd get this plasma you will not regret it

Excellent picture, clean minimalist styling, very easy to set up (pretty much does everything for you the first time you switch it on).

While the sound is far from terrible, due to the limitations of space in a flat screen cabinet the bass is a bit lacking. Also the user options for fine adjusting of sound and picture are limited. Worth noting I had to have my set replaced due to a lound buzzing from the back of the TV which suddenly appeared after 3 weeks. My replacement has been great though.

I was able to buy a coordinating stand which has castors so the unit could be moved. this made cable adjustments and cleanng much easier. Hardly any other makes do moveable stands, which for me was vital due to the location of my tv

cable trays and clips are not as good as on some other panasonic models, wires still visable from the front,.minor adjustments in design would have solved this problem

Excellent Plasma screen, with an excellent picture quality, the reviews are definitely worth reading and are right, there's only a few 37" Plasma's worth considering and this is definitely one of them.

The sound quality is fine but you'll need to connect to a surround sound system to do it justice.

THE BEST TV IVE EVER BOUGHT. THE SIZE IS JUST RIGHT TO BE PLACED ON THE WALL ABOVE OUR FIRE PLACE AND NOT TOO BIG AS TO DOMINATE THE WHOLE ROOM.42 INCH WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO BIG AND THAT IS THE START SIZE FOR MOST OTHER COMPANYS PRODUCING THIS TYPE OF TV.

Best 37" all rounder out there Perfect for PS3 & 360 I dont have 5.1 speakers or a large living space and this TV having tried LCD a 32" from Sony its perfect for my needs. Blurays play fine at 24fps even though Panasonic make no mention of this in their guides...they should!

Picture quality is fantastic even without a HD signal - the picture from the built in digital TV receiver is way better than I had expected. Watching the 6-nations rugby on this TV from the built in receiver was a joy. I looked at a lot of LCD screens before choosing this plasma but the picture quality on the LCDs just wasn't as good. The LCDs can boast great specs but for some reason that doesn't translate to a great picture. I'm so glad I chose this plasma.

Superb picture quality. Accepts full 1080p/24 image (even though display is 768). Excellent HDMI interface to Panasonic recorder. Quick to install and easy to use day-to-day. Just as good with movies and PS3 games.

Digital freeview tuner is not as good as that in Panasonic EX77 DVD recorder... need to watch low bitrate channels through the recorder.

great design and above average picture. I have it running through the outside aerial into a bt vision box via a hdmi lead, very impressive.the contrast ratio is excellent and it breathes new life into my back catalogue of dvds. sound quality is pretty good although i have it running through a home cinema system most of the time. Playstation 3 looks stunning on it as it gets the best out of the 1080i.
