Better than hand washing
takes over 3 hours for a normal cycle and still did not remove food from the last meal to be put in. Light flashes constantly when machine working which is very annoying. Inside of drum never dries completely (even when door left completely open, so prone to becoming smelly. My old machine took 1 hour 20 minutes to clean and dry, the machine was completely dry inside at the end of each cycle, I wish it still worked.. How can this be energy efficient

Quiet & quite quick
The trays are badly designed, we have to angle the dinner plates as they are standard plates but too tall for the bottom rack and stop the washer blade. I really regret buying this dishwasher as loading it everynight is a nightmare, the top rack consists of little shelves, no use what so ever, there is no dividers, and so the glass and cups are all balanced together and has resulted in some breakages. Plus because it is so difficult to load we are ending up with a lot of unclear plates etc and then have to spend the time washing them in the sink. I would seriously would recommend not purchasing this dishwasher.

It matches my washing machine and loads front to back. It has an acceptable range of cycles and is fairly easy to clean
It has a lack of height for the bottom tray causing my dinner plates to stop the arm turning. Loading pans and serving dishes also takes much more space than in my previous dishwasher because they have to be laid at an angle that covers most of the tray. I have several different styles of dinner plate and they all cause the arm to halt. If the arm is slightly restricted in any way the load does not wash properly and scum deposits are left especially in the cups and glasses on the toptray

Ease of use. Discreet. Great cleaning options
Usually leaves a residue on items. Quite noisey. Most cleaning programms are quite long.

A nice tidy unit with a good selection of cycles and triple A rating, good on water and electricity consumption.
Our standard size dinner plates do not fit very well into the loading area and the central rota cannot spin with them in the recommended position. The cycle selection knob is permanently protruding from the front of the unit.

Does a good washing job, most of the time. Good drying too. More than enough choice of programmes
Plastic sprayer seems flimsy, compared to previous metal one. Space isn't as good as my previous one - can't put baking trays upright on bottom or top although quite useful being able to put dinner plates on the top, which I couldn't do before but, generally, would want more space on the bottom. Caked on baking trays not properly cleaned, even on intensive wash.

A lot of programme choices with a short programme which is very good.
It appears my dinner plates catch on the centre arm which did not happen on my old machine.

It's difficult to load - dinner plates only fit in one area of the top rack and brush against the seal and the gaps for bowls and plates are not wide enough. We have found the cleaning performance poor, having to increase the level of salt to the highest level and still having to regularly re-wash or hand-wash items. Very disappointing.

Good basic machine, does what it says on the packet!
The economy cycle takes too long to be economic!

One hour cycle Display - can see clearly where it is in cycle
Does wash very well - particularly cutlery Doesn't stack very well - dirty plates tend to lean onto each other, and therefore stay dirty

Not too noisy
Often find dirty bits in cups and mugs. Its difficult to load. The cutlery gets caught around the handle. We didn't know the top tray could be raised for size of plates in the lower tray, there were no instructions about altering it in the manual so for the first few days washing our plates were being hit by the rotor arm. My husband was the one who noticed the two sets of wheels and just tried it to see what they were for. Now the top tray is raised we can't use the flap down sides for small cups, the room above is far too shallow.

Everything is good about it. The wash cycles, It was the best value money could buy for performance, cycles etc.
Most people complain about the noise, however, it may be a little noisier but when you compare that to other machines which have the same facilities then it is certainly worth paying less for a few decibels more noise.

mostly everything

James, St.helens
quiter than previous machine
instructions poorly translated from original leading to difficulty in altering height of rack

Eileen, Glasgow
I have run the quick wash cycle twice and it failed to clean plates and cups. The cups came out dirtier and had to be hand washed. The upper tray is too low for a 10 inch plate and some of my cutlery - ordinaty cutlery, not big knives. The instructions say the upper tray can be made higher by using bigger rollers, but they don't provide these. I am going to try a full wash, but so far very disappointing.

Sue, Truro, “green, practical, busy, pensioner”
Quick and easy to use and load, easy choice of settings, good food filter system
The wobbly dial/programme selector that I think will be the first bit of the d/washer to break

Good range of washing programs time wise.
Loading dishes in the right hand bottom side not as good as left side, dishes seem to fall forward on right hand side when loaded.

good choice of wash programmes - pre wash function is good and overall cleaning performance is good
Has a fault that is known to Hoover - easy to fix - Thermostat cut out that affects operation.

Upper shelf was set in 'low' position when delivered which meant the dinner plates didn't fit easily. Very upsetting until we realised that the shelf could be moved - abolutely no mention of this in the instructions.

Geoffrey, Isle Of Wight
Mostly good performance
Length of cycle, upper loading, cutlery basket too small to put knives blade down
09 Nov 2008

You cannot load plates properly into the bottom unit without the rotor blade hitting the plates. Therefore in my opinion its a poor design. Due to this fact you struggle to get a lot in the dishwasher. It will do a job but I wouldn't buy a similiar product or recommend this to anyone.

quiet, efficient and economical
dinner plates only just fit so have to be in right place, rinse cycle quite long, tablet just about fits in dispenser
15 Nov 2008
Sue, Wells
It works and didn't cost the earth
It won't take STANDARD SIZED round dinner plates, is organised in such a way that it is full at least twice as often as my old machine. The racks continually fall off the runners. I bought it in a great hurry because our old dishwasher died in transit whilst we were moving house and I was thus seriously busy. I seriously regret not doing further research on it.
15 Nov 2008
Christelle, Lympstone
efficient and quick
often have to rewash glasses and mugs on upper tray, as they get dirtied by the plates below
16 Nov 2008
Anonymous, “LEAD A HECTIC LIFESTYLE”
CHOICE OF PROGRAMMES, THE QUICK WASH IS EXCELLENT.
IT IS NOT AS EASY TO LOAD AS MY PREVIOUS DISHWASHER (BOSCH) THE LAY OUT OF THE BOTTOM DRAWER DOES NOT ALLOW FOR EASY LOADING OF LARGE ITEMS, GRILL PANS AND OVEN SHELVES. WHAT A PITY I GOT RID OF THE BOSH THE DRAWER MAY HAVE FIT THIS ONE!!!
