fiddly cutlery tray

love it - quiet and efficient!
none really - it does the job.

Excellent washing capability and choice of cycles. Noise level was one of the main reasons we chose this model, and it has lived up the the specs.
the machince never fully dries. There is always residual water left on the racks, meaning dishes often get wet as you try to carefully unload.

Very quiet compared to previous models and very effective in terms of cleaning dried on food etc.

Quiet machine, we use the eco wash which is slowish, but gives an excellent finish and uses less energy, so we're happy. Our last machine was out of the ark and this represents very good value for money
we have to put our wine glasse in at a jaunty angle because they are too tall for the top shelf, but they still come out sparkling

never had such clean cutlery! Usually can do just one wash up per day on "cheap" electricity at night

Christopher, High Bickington
its quick program is good
its environmental wash is aload of rubbish how can a wash that takes 1.6hrs be environmentrally friendly it is wearing the machine out and this cannot be good

Lynne, Bridlington, “Fair, friendly, patient, appraochable”
Low noise level. Main trays adequate.
Cutlery tray too small. Water pressure - had to disconnect from own dishwater water tank and removed and connect to mains water tank.

easy to use excellent cleaning
could dry better loading not brilliant

Almost silent, flexible racking, delayed start, tablets mode (no residue), eco cycle.
Doesn't quite fit large dinner plates properly in the front slots as the handle is slightly in the way so you are forced to use the back slots sometimes - a pretty minor niggle though!

flexibility for loading especially top drawer - very quiet. Dries well even plastics. Only had it a few weeks
None really - it seems to take a bit longer than my previous one but that might be because there's no time-remaining display. Only had it a few weeks but so far so good

Rachel, Burton On Trent, “busy mum of 3”
Its very quiet and easy to use
The cutlery basket gets in the way of loading wherever you site it and there is a lack of space for the likes of tall glasses

Excellent value for money. Works quietly but effectively - a bit like our previous dishwasher (my husband).
A bid fiddly when filling top rack but this could be our inexperience as we never has a dishwasher before.

everything! I was looking for a hotpoint graphite dishwasher for ages, i looked @ all others as well. This has been value for money, quite, reliable & i dont know how i ever lived without it!

Very quiet. Cleans brilliantly - glasses and cuttlery sparkling. Timer option is v. useful. Fold down plate rack is also very useful. Love the silver colour.
Tablet+main wash cycle (the one we use all the time) takes just over 2 hours which seems very long. Haven't tried the other cycles yet!

Its lovely and quiet
No easy way to load wine glasses with a normal load. The top basket can be moved down but then my dinner plates can't stand up in the bottom.

Easy to set up and use. Even my academic but impractical husband managed it. Washes better than old one, but it had lasted 25 years (another Hotpoint) Love the peaceful action.
It seems to take less than old one. I used to be able to put a line of small glasses between plates and cups on the top layer.

ease of selecting the wash. Quietness. So far gives a good wash.
Cutlery rack is cumbersome, individual slots fiddly. Placing in dishwasher is awkward.

Excellent value for money and has good features such as the bottom loading tray can be re-configured,low salt indicaors and low rinse aid indicators.
None really apart from being a LITTLE on the noisy side

The 25 minute wash cycle still gets all the pots sparkling clean, what more could you ask for? Looks great in our new kitchen, just need a washer and fridge freezer in the same colour, all donations welcome!

A VERY WELL MADE PRODUCT, AND DESIGNED FOR USE BY PEOPLE WITH VARIOUS DISABILITIES FOR EASE OF LOADING AND UNLOADING
AS YET I CANNOT FAULT IT.

Easy to open and close. Very easy to use, load and top up with rinse aid/washing tabs. Has a button for using multi function tabs. Everything comes out sparkling. Can pause to add more dishes after cycle has started.
Could knock the pause button by mistake and not realise thus causing a delay in finishing cycle but i dont really think that this is a major thing to consider.

This is the second Hotpoint Dishwasher I have purchased and have been very please with both.
It is far to noisy and would consider not buying another if I needed to

Reliable and easy to use. Just the right number of wash cycles to give you what you need without being confusing.
Does seem to take quite a while on the normal wash cycle - but the results are good.

First Dishwasher and dont have any real negative points, its really easy to use
Our plates are a little big and therefore cant fit more than 6 of these in at a time, also sometimes things arent completely dry.

Cleans better than our Bosch but will see how it has lasted in 18 months time.
Seems a little noisier than our old Bosch

some of cycles are very long so do need to check before running them.

The machine is smart and simple to use. As the basic model it has plenty of features although the use of lights to mean multiple things (for example the finish light is also the 9 hour delay light) can be a bit confusing at first. It’s also very quiet compared to my last machine. I would recommend as the bad points are minor and made in the small hope that Hotpoint may take on the feed back (lol)
Apart from the confusing lights at first, the one thing I never realized till we owned the machine was that the delay option is a choice of either 3/6/9 hours which can be a bit restrictive. I agree with all the comments about the drawers and cutlery holder they are not the best design, I have my top drawer on its highest setting which means the knife holder will not flip up if you don’t want them. Although the same physical size as my old machine it seems to have lost space inside where it counts. The only saving grace is that my baking sheets etc now stand in the lower tray and the upper arm still spins freely - something my old machine struggled with!

You hardly know its on. It's so quite. It's good on electric. I love it. The colour is spot on.
None really. Just hope it lasts as long as my other dishwasher, 18yrs.
