+ Had a crap dishwasher, now gone back to hotpoint, dont know why I didn't keep to them, what a difference, sparkly clean, quite, seems to wash everything even into the corners of the machine, which is where dishwasher usually let you down.

+ Tray spacing is better than previous dishwashers, reasonable purchase price and the door opens much easier than our last dishwasher.
- Noisy on main wash cycle - seems to lather up too much despite reducing salt dispensing to the minimum and then the pump is noisy. Bottom tray tips up when pulled out. Does not seem as robust as a previous hotpoint dishwasher or my last one which was a Teka which was fitted with the kitchen.

+ Ease of installation, in particular being able to level the rear leg from the front and the method for positioning accurately the front decorative panel to the door.
- Too early to tell but hopefully none of significance.

+ Washes well and is reasonably quiet
- Difficult to tell easily if salt and rinse aid need replacing. In comparison to other dishwashers because of the design of the compartments you cannot stack as much in.

- The guides for the runners need to be more robust - wheels tend to come out. Would benefit from greater flexibility in being able to alter the loading racks. Fitting instructions poor.

+ good points are that it makes an alarm noise when starting and finishing, so you know when its finished washing and drying and the door is very easy to open and close, unlike my previous dishwasher. its also very simple to use.
- only has one shelf on the top tray to put your longer items like fish slice and long handled spoons, my previous model had a small shelf at either side, therefore you can struggle a bit to put longer items such as these in the dishwasher without them taking up far to much room on the top tray. Had i realised this i would have bought a different model.
