Sometimes get undissolved powder with tablets added to wash. Quiet when washing, but sometimes a little noisy when spinning at high speed.

This machine is easy to use and has a clear digital display. I love the delay function, washing completed when you are ready. There are enough cycle options without being complicated. I also like that the door can be open during the cycle was to add forgotten items. There is a child lock option too. Its soooooo quiet!!!

Some of the cycle programmes are quite long.

Can't believe the clothes when they come out of the machine. Washers really well. Very quiet machine when in operation. Oh and love the fact it lets you know when finished.

The child lock. Children can still adjust temperature when working. I would prefer that children weren't able to adjust anything at all while in use.

lovely and quiet. the 40 degree wash is only 1h25mins from a cold fill. I had the old model of this washing machine and it took 1h57m so that must mean savings in electricity. child lock stops them changing the programme but my toddler can still open the door once the cycle has finished and the lock has been released.

Has a cycle for every eventuality. Takes a "massive" load.

what a wonderful machine... wish id had one years ago.... life with 3 boys is much cleaner, quicker now..

The machine is easy to use, very quiet (compared to my 11 year old machine which spun like a plane was taking off each time), simple cycles, washes extremely well and spins like a dream! the clothes are so dry when they come out, most of the time I can hang them to dry on my air dryer instead of using the dryer on wet days. It also is brilliant at pillows and duvets, as the capacity is large and the spin cycle is so powerful. Highly recommend :)

I wish it had a child lock for the door so my 1 year old couldn't pull out all the clothes when a cycle is finished as the door automatically unlocks. Why not have a child lock on the front (meaning one I don't put on myself which defaces the machine) as part of the machine???? not sure why none of the brands seem to have this feature considering most people have their washing machine in the kitchen? bizarre!

The load size is fantastic only downside is I can't fit it all on my washing line!! It has a good selection of programmes which can be taloired to your needs.

The spin noise is a little loud but as the machine is in my garage it doesn't bother anyone.

. The programmes are straightforward to understand and laid out quite well. and we are very pleased with this machine. With the higher spin speeds our washing comes out dryer and doesn't need much time on our radiators (we don't have a tumble dryer) The wash cycle is very quiet in operation.

Our old Hotpoint maching had castors and was easy to move about. The new Hotpoint WMD960P has only adustable legs, and needs someone strong to move it. My wife and I are now pensioners and found this rather difficult. The new machine is a little noisy at the higher spin speeds (1400 and 1600). Wash cycle times also seem rather long.

Its Quiet, Its quick and easy to programme It even remembers what you have done before, it is easy to load and empty, in all honesty it is one of the best ones on the market today

quiet, i live in a small bungalow so thats important, excellent choice of cycles and spin speeds, particularly quick wash cycles, great wool cycle, i am able to wash cashmere sweaters in this machine without worry.

The washing machine looks good, i like how it counts down the time of the load,i love the quiteness of the spin, the drum size and spin speed are also a bonus, i think its really good all round machine and probably the best i have ever had.

Very easy to use particularly when selecting the right program. Option to reduced load and washing time is excellent for those small wash loads that you need to do quickly.

Good price, I was shopping around with a very specific budget but didn't want to sacrifice on performance and energy rating (A), water usage (Low) and size (8kg), super silent, half load, and eco functions - this mashine had all the requirments. It also looks good if that is a requirement for you. I was also looking within more known brands to ensure ease of after sales service. I recommend buying this mashine if you are looking for the same specs as what I had. I know some people want shorter cycles but I plan my time and use the time preset functionality to work around some of the long cycle times. It washes and dries well - all depending on which cycle you use. If you forgot to put in something right at the beginning of the cycle it allows you to pause and the door unlocks immediately - which is a really good thing for me as my previous hotpoint took over 2 minutes before unlocking the door at any point. It also allows to change the cycle if you chose the wrong cycle - I guess this is within reason - I have only made changes in the beginning of cycles.

The 'reduce creases' function is not as successfull as I had hoped - but it could also be because I may have over loaded it and forgot to take the clothes out in time. Also I had a high spin cycle that didn't seem to reach top speed but realised it was because I had heavy clothes on one side which imbalanced it, it tries to self balance the clothes then. Since then I have loaded it more balanced and had no problems.

This is the quitest washing machine I have ever had. Despite living in a terraced property I can run it at night without the worry of disturbing our house or the neighbours. Loads of options on cycle times and washes which works well with having a 3 year old !!

Would suggest doing a few runs through initially without washing items as there did seem to be some residual marks on first couple of loads.

excellent machine, full of features ,you can set the temperature and various spin speeds independent of the machines programmes....fast 1600 spin speed for quick drying but gentle spin for delicates ,built in silent feature hardly notice the machine is on when going through wash cycle highly reccomend this machine for anyone,familys too,big 8kg drum load get more washing done ,save time ,power and water.... AAA rating too .... great eco and user friendly

very quiet, can make up my own program to suit whatever I want, can have high speed spin and a low temperature wash which other washers I've used do not, cold water fill which enables a cold water wash which is very eco friendly, would definitely recommend.

Keep finding washing I don't have so I can use the washer!

8kg capacity with large porthole for easy loading. Quiet when programme running. Easy to amend cycle to suit yourself. Fastest spin I have used so far is 1000 and washing comes out not to wet and very little creases.

Don't think it looks as good as some I have seen. Top panel is very square looking, Only has cold water inlet pipe meaning it has a heating element ( Calgon required in my area).

Washes great, loads of functions easily laid out and accessible, very quiet, spins almost dry!

If load not balanced well it does not spin, and timer display is wildly out most times, eg. can say 1 min of spin time left yet it goes on for 5 more. Can't really fault it though, a great machine.

This machine takes a large load very handy when you have 4 children.It is very quiet so suitable for night time washing. The child lock has come in very handy too. The programmes are very easy to select and the display is also good.

Because it is so easy to use if you have small children that mess you must remember to put the child lock on.

High spin speed dries clothes well - a must for this damp climate. Eco and reduced time & temperature options save on energy costs. Controls easy to use - like the electronic display.

Nothing much to say. However the Softner does not empty some times I think it gets blocked from time to time

It has a serious vibration problem when its on the highest spin cycle. I was ensured this would not happen as was told it is fitted with internal balance regulators or something. I live in a split floor flat and the glass in the living room window, at the OPPOSITE end of the flat was shaking in its panes when I used the highest spin cycle. I was mortified when the lady downstairs complained. Not impressed.

fast wash cycle is good and also the hand wash cycle.

Some of the timings are a bit odd, it takes nearly two hours to do a Cotton Wash, whereas it takes half an hour to do a fast cotton wash. The problem with fast washes is that it does not get children's clothes very clean. Fast Wash is only for very lightly worn clothes.
