The machine is great with lots of buttons doing many features- especially like the reduced creases one! Its a user friendly easy to use tin and I am very happy with it.

You do not have to keep turning the dial onto the programme every time as it stays there so you only need to press it on, unless you want to change cycle

Large wash capacity means I do less washes per week. Excellent range of wash cycles though don't know if I'll ever use them all! 1400 spin is super as clothes come out much dryer. Having the choice of spin speeds is good too. Door opens wider than my old machine which I like.

Can't think of any, oh, just one. Machine slightly larger than the one it replaced so had to do a little carpentry.

It's a very efficient washer, the fast spin speeds mean the washing is very dry when I take it out meaning less drying time for me! There are lots of extra options such as extra rinse and mini load which means I can vary the wash cycle to suit the load. Also the large 7kg load is great for family washes.

Some programmes take too long to finish. Shortest basic wash is 1hr 15mins.

Cold fill takes a lot longer than the dual fill of my old (12years)machine. Before,I could select a quick wash which used the hot fill and as my hot water system provides very hot water I could complete an efficient wash in 30 minutes!!!! The best with this is a minimum of at least 1 hour!(And not as good).

It was pretty easy to work out. Once you had figured out all of the wash options and extra buttons it's a piece of cake. Literally just wash and go. Wash results are A1+. The variable spin (up to 1400rpm) is a really useful feature and cuts down on creasing and ironing if it's set lower. It's such a good machine that after 1 day of use we just left it to get on with it's job and don't even notice it now.

Capacity is good. I have reduced the amount of times I need to put the washing machine on, because it holds a lot of washing and still washes well. Easy to use.

Programming simplicity itself - can leave on the most frequently used programme and start with just the push of one button. Buttons for special features reset after use, so you can't accidentally leave them on. Dries clothes well.

The extra large drum is a bonus, especially for a family. The programms are very easy to understand and the 1400 spin almost spins dry!! Great machine overall!

There are not really any bad points about this machine. But if you select the "enhance wash" option, is does take a very long time to go through the cycle.

Everything you could possible need from a washing machine. One hour wash cycle very good. Dont bother spending more money on fancy digital machine with hundreds of programs. This machine does it all at a reasonable price.

We bought our own WT540P after using one in rented accommodation and purchasing our own flat. It is very efficient, has fast cycles, has a nice clear control panel and indicator system, leaves clothes only barely damp when they come out, and is very competitively priced. The rotary dial is electronic, NOT mechanical - which means no more having to fight that horrible mechanical 'notching' that dogs so many washing machines, including many other current models (especially at this price range), leaving you one click before your desired programme and, having to nudge the dial one more 'click', missing it by turning it one more click too far. None of that. You can even turn the dial both clockwise and anti-clockwise. It's a cold-fill machine so easy to connect and doesn't rely on you having plenty of hot water in the tank. Plenty of features like 'wash enhance', 'extra rinse', 'mini load' and so on. Very well built, nice satisfying clunk when you shut the door, very short delay between end of programme and door release.

I really can't think of any bad points. This doesn't really qualify, but the only thing missing to make it perfect is a 'delayed start' or timer mode. However I wouldn't expect it at this price range and with the other features. The only other thing I can think of is that my missus wanted it in granite/silver colour but it wasn't available - only the smaller load WT541 was. Apparently it is in theory available in that colour but no-one seems to stock it. So you have to make do with hospital white or nothing. Main thing is, it does the job fantastically.

the drum is large enough to get a super king size duvet in to wash which saves having to take them to the dry cleaners,

Excellent value for money. Well designed and the engineering looks good. Quieter than expected. Good manual. Easy to use. Washing performance is very good.

We did not want all bells and whistles but delayed start would have been useful. Our old machine was hot and cold feed so the cycle times are longer than we are used to but seem comparable with most current machines.

It does a good job of the washing and does exactly what we expected it to, so no problems on that front.

It broked down after only 2 months and the drum needed replacing (despite the fact we have been very careful about laod size, etc... so it was a fault with the machine rather than our mistake). the wash cyles take a long time and are quite noisy relative to other machines.

Pretty good load capacity for getting through the family washing . Does the job. only had it a month but no problems so far.

Load size, 30 degree cycle for fast wash.

Lack of options available on 30 degree fast wash cycle. After 2 weeks the solenoid on the water inlet failed so we were then 2 weeks without a washing machine awaiting its repair.

I can't get away with using the time saver option on most loads as I've found that the clothes still come out with food stains on and when you don't use this option the load takes forever. Ok for people who do their washing every day I suppose but I do mine twice a week for a family of four.

Easy to use, noise not that bad, had worse. Yet to find any kitchen appliance that is as quiet as i would want,cycle times can be a bit long but also had worse. Cold fill only not a problem.All in all not a bad washer for money.

They don't come out dry,ironed and on hangers !!

The drying function is first class. Overall we are delighted with our new washing machine!!

I LIKE THE SIMPLICITY OF USE AND THE LARGE SIZE OF THE WASH LOAD

Overall the machine is very good although the cycle times are quite long. I like the fact that there are a lot of programmes to choose from and also that there is a mini load option.

Don't like the fact it cannot be plumbed into the hot water supply, only the cold which obviously means the cycle is longer as the water has to heat up.

It's easy to use, simple to see the programmes, and if the power is interupted, it starts back at where it stopped rather than having to start from the beginning again!
