Nokia 5310 Xpress Music

| wanted a phone specifically to listen to music and to text on! and the 5310 does what it says on the tin! I have over 500 tracks on the mp3 and the fact it has separate controls for the mp3 is fantastic! you can set up playlists and the software to transfer files is really easy to use for those of us with slight technophobia!

The back casing is a bit flimsy, but this is because of the lightweight design

nice slim and slinky, fits in the pocket and the hand beautifully - nice 2 gig memory which is pretty good, enough space for most people

Great light-weight phone. Only 75g. The main reason I choose this phone. Shortcut keys available from main screen. This is very handy as you can choose to have your favorites or more used keys here. Expandable memory.

The operating system tends to hang if moving around to different functions too fast. The only way to re-boot it is to remove the battery. The on/off button on top will not work for this. I find this the most frustrating about this phone and regret not going with my other choice of phone the Nokia E51. Even my old Nokia 6233 was capable of following my fast key movements. Back cover to the phone to remove the battery sticks, difficult to remove the cover without pressing down the keys to the front of the phone.

Numbers do not light up, screen is difficult to read in the dark as phonebook numbers are not illuminated.

the battery does not last long especially when playing games or playing mp3's the camera has no flash or light so night time pics are out of the question and the video quality is quite grainy

Nice slim phone & feels good quality Looks very good The phone was bought for the music utility and the fact it has a standard earphone socket - it has achieved full satisfaction in these areas.

Use of music does drain the battery - obviously size of battery comprimised over size of phone - but that's no different to every other phone really! Headphone socket is constantly open, Nokia should develop a cover or plug to keep it from blocking.

This phone is small, compact, looks great and is very easy to use. I was reluctant to buy a Nokia phone again after using Motorola for so long but i'm very glad I did. I've had the phone for a while now and i'm still finding out things it can do! :)

Brilliant concept and look, great functions

2 separate handsets developed a clear problem of freezing after a missed call, only rectififed by removing the battery. After qurying various fora it is clear this is a universal problem with the handset. OWN GOAL - potentially the best phone I've owned turned out to be the worst and I returned it to get my money back

mp3 player slimness, ease of controls, simplicity of setting up, sound quality, use of bluetooth through other equipment such as car stereos..

When buying the product you are of the assumption that it will hold up to 2000 songs but fails to point out only a 2mb card is supplied! should be worded better by saying that you would need a 8mb card that is not supplied

The camera is great. There's enough words to send text messages without resorting to "text language"! The font size is very good for people with bad sight. The screen is clear. The radio and MP3 player are very easy to use/

Look/feel. It doesn't feel substantial... almost too thin and flimsy. Also refused to port my contacts over successfully.

I cannot get the internet to work. The mms does not work. It kept freezing, I found out this was due to it not being able to cope with the 4GB HCMicroSD which it was supposed to be compatible with. Some of these points may be due to T-Mobile not the nokia 5310

Very thin and light weight with a standard 3.5mm headphone socket.Excellent music quality. Clear and bright screen. Excellent sound with stereo bluetooth.

Camera just 2 megapixel, battery life average as phone is so thin and battery small.

Battery life is very poor - only lasts for about 2-3 days when not used and in powersave mode, lasts for even less time if it is used for just a short length of time!! Sound quality is not very good when speaking on the phone - cannot hear the caller very clearly.

Brilliant all round phone for the price, great at listening to music and for browsing the web, I would deffinatly recommend.

Would have been good if it had a flash on the camera, but hey for the price you cant expect anything.

It is small and easy to use, the memory is brilliant and overall the phone looks classy.

The Music volume isn't really loud and you sometimes do not pick up coverage.

Poor quality camera, bluetooth connectivity is not very good and the music keys can be 'wobbly'.

The phone has excellent sound quality, and lots of other great features such as emailing, web browsing, and the camera/video is also of high quality. It`s an easy phone to use too, and it doesn`t take forever to download stuff when you`re web browsing.

Not really a lot to say here other than if you use the camera/video a lot it can drain the battery fairly quickly.

i love the design, the hot pink colour! its really light and really slim and it can easily fit into your pocket!

the battery life isn't too good, and the camera is a bit crappy, but it takes really good pictures in good lighting!
