+ Very easy to use. Loads of memory both on hard drive and SD card. Quick and easy transfer to PC. Small and light. This is my first camcorder and I am so pleased with it.

+ Very good image quality - colour screen very clear. Reduced image shake when on zoom and ability to focus automatically on correct subject even when the picture has a lot of content.
- Quite difficult to get the hang of moving between menu and playback, using joystick. Some of the instructions make the operation of the product seem more complicated than it needs to be. Would be nice if the manual had a Quick Start section to get you trying a simple record and playback.

+ Easy to use No tapes Uses SDHC aswell as built in HDD, infact get a large enough SDHC card and you won't use the HDD.
- Quality not as good as uncompressed digital tape so make sure it is always in High Quality mode.

+ lightweight and portable
- No optical viewfinder, which means the electronic screen drains the battery. Bundled software is not impressive, very fiddly!

+ 1. not having an eyepiece to see what is being taken. 2. ease of switching between taking shots and reviewing both movie and single shot.
- 1. Bought a tripod as recommended but found it to be too big to handle with the camera case. maybe a smaller single leg job, which could fit in the carry bag.

+ Easy to use, light, battery hasnt needed charging yet and have used alot. Best camcorder i have owed.
- Built for bigger hands, sometimes a stretch to hit record button when holding on to camcorder but not really a minus as not a problem just have extra small hands
