+ Handles fast action, colours vibrant and blacks are really deep. HDMI is a real leap forward when connecting dvd/blue ray player. Screen size fits comfortably within a normal family room
- Would have liked to switch off information on AV channel in top left hand corner, when using my ipod. I have an obvious concern with plasma screen burning and the only option available seems to be provided by automatic lowering of contrast.

+ Superb picture quality; Excellent Freeview picture and spectacular with HD material.

Amanda, Arlesey
+ Excellent picture even with standard sky box.Colurs are superb, sports look as if you are there!Have an xbox360 with a hd feed, games look amazing as do dvds.Sound is more than adequate, was a bit concerned after reading other reviews that it might be too quiet but we havnt turned it much above half.We have had no distortion either. After having a 32"lcd previously(sharp aquos)we would never go back to one!Set up and tuning were really easy(havent used the freeview)and well worth spending a bit of time to get it right.
- The only bad thing I can say about this tv so far is that the shiny black surround is a dust magnet! It looks great though, so well worth a daily wizz over with a cloth.

+ Excellent picture, even on SD broadcasts. Very slick design. I also have the Panasonic DMR-EZ27 upscaling DVD player and even with standard def DVD films, the picture is amazing. An excellent TV and superb value for money
- SD sporting events, e.g. football, a bit blurry if fast movement, HD football superb though. Think this is fairly standard problem with plasmas and LCDs

+ I spent 6 months deciding on which TV to buy. In the end I decided on plasma rather than LCD for good black levels and depth of colour, both of which are fantastic on this set. I was tempted to go for full 1080p HD, but decided at 37 inch screen size, there was no real justification and went for HD ready (saving around £150 which I put towards a Panasonic BD30 blu-ray player). The off-air digital pictures from the inbuilt tuner are better than SKY digital which I now rarely use. The blu-ray input gives an incredible result. I made the right decision. Buy this set folks!!
- Sound is good, but could be improved if I was being really picky.

+ I'm a late adopter to wide screen tvs - this model was worth waiting for!
- needs constant dusting to keep pristine!!!

+ This is easily the best 37" television on the market. Fantastic picture whether you are watching Standard or High Definition programs. I didn't think a Plasma would ever impress me as much as a top spec CRT but this is fantastic.
- The speakers, as with all flat panel TVs, lack a bit of bass, but if you are after the full cinema experience it';s worrth investing in a decent home cinema Amp and speakers anyway.

+ EPG clear and concise. Good clean unclutered body shell. Easy to set up as soon as it is switched on. Have recently switched Sky to HD and the picture is very impressive. Have used SD card to view camera pictures which were really good. Overall very pleased.
- Only 2 scart sockets so could not utilise existing equipment fully (DVD, VCR and Satellite). Have just updated satelite to HD which uses HDMI so now DVD and VCR occupy the scart sockets.

+ Design is superb, amazing Panasonic quality and expertise, connectivity is more than ample and setup and functionality is an absolute breeze... stick an upscaled 1080p signal through it or a blu-ray player and it'll leave you smiling well after the credits have rolled.
- Bassy sound is a little rumbly now and then, especially in traffic scenes and when the action gets a little frantic, but it's not a major issue on 90% of movies (or cbeebies when my daughters are watching)

Nick, Teddington, “Very particular re technology.”
+ Very good picture (black and shadows) and no blurring on fast movement especially good for sport. So far no eye strain. I found it easy to instal and operate if you use the operating instructions.
- None so far.

+ Overall an excellent product all-round, as my score shows. Very happy with this product.
- Minor criticism only - the on/off button not the easiest to locate, blends in with the sleek design on the bottom rim of the TV.

+ Great image - way better than LCD for this size of telly Looks good too - some large screens look cheap, but not this one Viera link great with Panasonic cinema system for better sound quality Great value for money
- Sound good but not fantastic - well worth hooking up to a cinema system

James, South Yorkshire, “Engineer thirty years”
+ Too many to name This TV is the best there is for the price. Do not look any further/
- THe sound could be better The speakers are hidden away resulting in great picture, average sound A TV as good as this deserves great sound

+ well thought out remote, excellent large teletext memory for fast reading of sub-pages, good range of hdmi and other sockets, excellent value for money.
- while excellent picture with 'dynamic;setting the cinema, normal and eco xettings are somewhat dim in normal room lighting conditions.

+ beutifull tv , looks fantastic, our opinion, sets itself up,and easy to follow instructions to enter owners ,name and address and password for security against theft,so makes it easier for traceing owners if recovered .
- attracts the dust,,,,

+ Good picture but I now realise that we we need to get HD to fully enjoy the set. Nice looking peice of kit.
- Sound quality acceptable but I tend use audio output to hifi system for improvements. Plasma best in low light situations but I knew this already and our room is never that bright. I think people who have a room with lots of light, especially daylight, might be disappointed.

+ Very good alround package, sharp picture and good contrast with vibrant colours and deep blacks. Easy to set up and install with excellent features.
- Some fast moving images and text can show signs of "ghosting", but nothing too noticeable.

+ Amazing SD picture. Upscaled DVD picture even better.
- Sound adequate for normal volume levels, but maybe not quite as top notch as the picture.

+ A cracking TV that just seems to get better and better - I do not have an HD system but, quite frankly, this TV does not need it.
- The stand attracts dust like you would not believe.

Lee, Derbys
+ Fantastic free view and standard Def image quality. High Def image quality Via HDMI and Blu Ray is great with very deep black levels, great detail, and no motion blur (that tends 2 effect some plasma TV's).Its an easy TV 2 set up, and the sound is fine. Very very good TV at a fantastic price.
- None found

+ Beautiful picture with good colours. I use it mainly in cinema mode.
- The sound is pretty poor. Any attempt at increasing the bass to reasonable levels results in distortion. Also, I'd really like the video sockets under the front flap to be located on the side at the back, like other manufacturers do.

+ This is a good all round TV if you are looking for a plasma from a reputable manufacturer at an affordable price. Cannot fault it for the money. HD brings games console graphics into a different world.

Jason, Hither Green
+ Great picture on DVDs and digital TV although older DVDs (especially old films) and TV programmes (on digital TV) can look either grainy or fuzzy on a large screen. Good blacks, no motion blurring, menus good. Although you must calibrate the TV for the first 200 hours and not have any areas with black bands (i.e. widescreen movies or 4:3 TV programmes); this can be avoided using the ASPECT options to stretch the picture or zoom in.
- Not 1080 high definition but apparently there are no 37" plasma screens that are 1080 high definition (normal DVDs look great though so not really an issue).

+ Great picture, excellent contrast, loads of connections, good user interface, like the SD card slot as well.
- Slight buzzing, noticable if it's very quiet. I understand this is normal with plasmas.

- Too big protruding front to pedestal stand (although in fairness is very secure)

+ looked at several plasmas and found this to be by far the best
- non found as yet

Michael, Taunton
+ Excellent picture and sound plus all required controls (only bettered by 1080 HD)
- Originally liked the smart shiny finish but now think a matt finish would be better as the highly reflective nature of the casing can cause distracting images e.g. windows and lights.
20 Jun 2008
Zoe, East Sussex
+ Looks good. Good picture - much better than parents LCD.
- The surround and base is gloss and seems to get dusty instantly. They provide you with a special cloth to clean it so you don't scratch it. I'd have preferred a matt black surround and not to have to worry about it!

07 Jul 2008
Andy, Malvern, “Imaging systems engineer”
+ picture quality is excellent
- sound could be better Need to be careful (full screen picture with lower constrast, non static images) with the screen for the first 200h to avoid image retention problems - but worth it.

Peter, Droitwich, “Fairly technically competent”
+ Well packed, easy to assemble and start up with self search.
- I don't know where I can store such a large empty box until it may not be needed.I have kept it just in the eventuallity of the set having to be sent back due to failure but the box is too big to go through the loft trapdoor! The handbook is complex and needs to have some simple jargon/explanation of some of the terms and setup/connection options and possibilities.

+ Easy to set up, instructions nice and clear, plenty of inputs and outputs, internet derived programmes from major broadcasters good quality, able to use Qlink on 2 year old Panasonic HDD to record programmes via TV guide.

+ I am well pleased with this - the picture is clear, bright and with no blurring. Loads better that the old CRT telly I had before. It was so easy to set up and get running. I'm not a great tech guy so have not played with many settings but it was great straight out of the box. Note - Can't comment on the sound as running through a surround sound system but everything else is great - well recommended.
