- Just a little too complicated

+ Execllent value for money - crisp, clear picture on digital and freeview, further enhanced by HD. Sound quality not perfect, but can easily be enhanced by use of external sound system.
- None - some things are not perfect, but nothing is bad.

+ Good quality picture on both analogue and digital with wide viewing angle. Swivel stand allows optional re-postioning with ease when required. Decent sound but can be beaten. Overall an excellent TV.
- Bad layout of remote control - especially Guide controls (top) - would be better to swap the VCR/DVD cluster with the Guide/Exit/Resume and circular direction cluster (bottom). The remote is also the identical shape at both ends so I frequently fire it at myself.

+ Great picture quality. I was particulary looking for good display of the SD programmes on Freeview as we don't have HD and are unlikely to have it for several years - generally this is very good, including sport and other fast-moving stuff. We also bought a Panasonic DVD / HDD unit - programming and recording are simple, playback is good quality [depends on recording quality setting] and storing, review and deleting programmes are simple oerations.
- Sound could be better, otherwise no complaints with the TV. DVD / HDD start-up time is slow.

+ Excellent picture - easy to set up and great value.
- None really - buttons on remote are slightly fiddly but it is hardly worth mentioning.

+ This is probably the best 32" tv you can buy. 100hz means no motion blur, and picture is excellent.
- not 1080p although it will take a 1080p signal. This doesnt matter much on a 32" tv though.

+ Cool looking and easy to use with a very good picture. Quite compact/sleek but with a big enough screen for a small terraced house (sitting c2.5/3m from the screen). The picture from an upscalled DVD (720p) is outstanding.
- The only negatives are the sound is a bit thin for films and you get a little blurring with fast motion at the edges of the screen (I should say that it is better than virtually every other LCD TV I have seen and does not detract from the enjoyment).

Mark, Kent
+ Picture quality is excellent, sound is pretty good too. Freeview channels are all clear and don't suffer from the freezing or jerkiness we used to get from a set top box.
- Nothing worth mentioning

+ Great picture, great interface. Sound is more than acceptable
- I had to have a replacement set due to electonic buzzing from the back of the set. Not an isolated issue by all accounts. My replacement set started buzzing also but that seems to have stopped for now. Fingers crossed!

+ I looked long and hard for a flat screen tv and was convinced that only a plasma would do as I was concerned about the skin tones, depth of image and inability to produce realistic colours of LCD's (that is why they are always showing animated DVD's in shops on LCD screens). Lots of reviews recommended this TV and I decided to buy it as it was reasonably priced and the 42 inch plasma is too big for my living room. It is fantastic. Great colours and skin tones that knock spots off the competition and it looks good which is equally as important.
- None so far.

- You cannot watch the picture when using the guide.

Jason, Gosport
+ Picture quality is fantastic, movies and games are really sharp and there is no blurring whatsoever with high speed objects. The design is very classy and it will look great in just about any room unlike some other models that will look dated in a year or so.
- None really.

+ looks good and image quality is excellent
- Speaker is at bottom of TV so not as good perhaps as other TVs but there is a surround sound option and when you attach seperate speakers this overcomes the problem. Switching TV on and off can be a bit fiddly but overall I think this is a great TV!

+ Good picture Easy set up
- Confusing program guide - up and down in the page view is the opposite of the normal up and down in program list. Sound is average. Automatic aspect ratio gets confused with DVD player input. remote control is symmetrical up and down - no obvious 'top'

+ Excellent picture and sound quality and easy to use, does everything it says it will. I am so pleased with this TV that I am thinking about buying a second set for another room.
- Small point - the EPG guide blanks out the tv screen and sound, on my other TV with a Sony digi box, this allows the TV and sound to continue in the background.

+ superb picture, easy to use, fast text / split screen keeps eveyone happy
- sound goes off when viewing programme guide so you can't tell when adverts have finished, I'm being picky!

+ excellent picture quality. one remote control for tv and vcr player . TV turns to watch from different angles.
- I haven't yet set up my surround sound speakers to generate a better sound. Despite this, sound on the tv is very good. Not a bad point really-depending on what you want.

Michael, Leighton Buzzard, “Very fussy”
+ I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and for the price I paid it is excellent. The refresh rate is superb, the colours are vibrant and it is a pleasure to watch. It is also very easy to set up with its auto tune facility. I would recomment this TV to anyone, it is far better than any Sony I saw. If you are not convinced, go into a retail outlet and put Sky News on through the digital facility. Then look at how clear the writing is which is scrolling along the bottom of the screen. Then look at a similar model and see how the writing is not as smooth. It's all down to the 100 mhz refresh rate.
- None, I really like it.

+ Screen quality excellent, EPG easy and quick channel change, menus intuitive.
- Sound not as good as my 10 year old Panasonix TX24A1, but good nonetheless. I understand all flat screens suffer the same - just budget for a decent home cinema kit.

Chris, Felixstowe
+ Superb picture and very good design. It has a huge range of connection interfaces to suit almost every type of AV equipment. It's ideal for showing digital photos from a laptop or playing an X-Box game in HD mode.
- The sound quality is no better than average, as expected with small speakers inside the TV casing. For best results, connect it to your hifi using whichever audio output suits you best. Sound quality is then superb!

+ Great everything; picture, sound, depth, set up etc. (for DVDs). Now all we need is for the main terrestrial signal to go HD.
- Auto aspect control sometimes cannot determine a "best" aspect ratio and keeps changing it while you are watching. Solution: choose an aspect ratio manually.

+ Picture quality. The product had lots of good technical reviews in the magazines, and has the same picture processing as the more expensive 700 model.
- Styling a little bit bland, but the picture quality overules this slight drawback.

+ Very Good Quality image the best that I have seen from a flat pannel so far if you want a tv for image quality and features buy this. I have seen so many lcd tv's in the last few months and this was the best.
- The sound quality is fine in normal mode but not in virtual surround. I would highly recamend you connect this to a 5.1 system as I have done which just makes the viewing so much better. Also would like to of had picture in picture which is not important but would of been nice.

+ We reviewed four different so called 'highly recommended' LCD tv's, all 32", and unfortunately, they all fell short of our expectations in picture quality, except this one. We both sighed with relief when we eventually got hold of this tv (very difficult to get hold of just before xmas) as all of the reviews were true to their word, fantastic picture quality, and sound is top notch. We were told when we picked this tv that we had chosen wisely, and we agree. If you can get hold of this - go for it, you will not be disppointed.
- None that we have encountered so far.
