+ We liked the look of the kettle and toaster
- Toaster small for most sizes of sliced bread but more importantly this toaster and its replacement both nearly burned our house down. Despite being on a very low setting the toaster continued to toast the bread and even the manual pop up failed to work. Very disappointed.

+ none
- lasted less than a week and kettle wouldnt switch off

+ The kettle is fantastic, stylish design and holds a generous capacity of water. Boils water very quickly.
- I'm undecided about the toaster. Has yet to make the perfect slice of toast, it's either not toasted enough or you turn it up ever so slightly and the kitchen is full of smoke and your toast is like charcoal and that's on setting 2/3 so i can't imagine what the toast would be like on setting 7!! Don't like the way the lights are on the toaster the red light comes on when you put your bread in, if you put frozen bread in you press the snowflake button which then allows a green light to come on below the red light but looking at the red light you would think that that was suppose to be the defrost light. Same with the reheat button/light it was quite confusing at first because i thought the reason why my toast was burning was because it was stuck on defrost and the instructions didn't explain what the lights were for. I do like the style of the toaster but i would've sent it back if the kettle wasn't to my liking, i will put up with the burnt toast for the sake of keeping the kettle.

- the lid on the kettle doesnt fit properly and the toast doesnt always come out of the toaster, I nearly had a fire in my home

+ The toaster is fine apart from it doesn't toast the top part of the bread so I turn the bread over!
- I have to say I havn't and can't use the kettle because there is a smell that won't go. I have boiled water in it 30 + times but it still makes the water taste funny, its like a metal taste that won't go away. I would have sent it back but I have and do use the toaster all the time so as it came as a package I didn't think I could. Hope this helps your survey.

+ At first seemed good value for money.
- Poor design around spout, the heat of the steam when boiling caused the rubber to peel away. I am afraid I returned this product and obtained a refund, only after several uses, it seemed poor quality.

- For the first week or so, the kettle gave my hot water a 'new appliance'/plastic-y taste, despite plenty of rinsing and cleaning. But that faded fairly soon, and now I'm really happy with it.

+ The RH Carnaby Kettle is an excellent product; both the kettle and toaster are stylish.
- The Toaster lets the RH Carnaby pack down. It does not take hi-top or wide slices of bread, meaning that the bread has to be put in twice (bottom down and then top down) and burns in the middle. Alternatively, the larger slices are part toast / part bread. Also, the lifter feels flimsy, and does not raise a crumpet high enough to be picked up comfortably with your fingers.

- You cannot get a slice from a large loaf in the toaster, so you always get a bit of bread untoasted which is a shame as otherwise an efficient kettle and toaster
