+ Easy user guide for recording, good quality recordings at various levels of resolution.

- Not clear in the user manual about finalising the disc. I found if the disc was finalised without renaming the recordings a finalised disc won't play on the unit, but will play on any other DVD player - found this out after I had disposed of used discs.

+ attractive design.. works smoothly and quietly..some good features..produces a great recorded picture

- a little tricky to use..but then i haven't had it long

+ easy to set up and use

- ot the best transition of scenes in editing mode

+ very easy to set up and get working. So easy in fact I got my mother-in-law to buy the same model!

- Up to now , none.

+ This machine is very easy to use, if I can ues it I think most people will be able to. It is easy to set up digital channels. I do like Sansung products.

- I have noticed that this mahine does loose it's channels from time to time, and I have had to auto setup tham again, but doesn't take long, and it hasn't happened while I was recoreding. Also I have a problem changing the recoreding length, and looking at the remote the book it says to hit the REC MODE button, but I found I was pressing the wrong button, you must press the green B button, I was hitting the one below.
