+ Very easy to set up and use, the remote control is simple to switch between DVD and VCR use, and the unit itself is a nice simple overall black.

- The connectors at the front, when these would be more effective at the rear of the unit

+ I guess for the price it is just about adequate.

- It is not easy to just record a programme straight off the TV.. In fact it is far too complicated for a DVD/VCR. It is too big and coud be smaller in dimensions. Would have been nice if it came in silver colour.
