+ Image quality good. That's it really, nothing else good. Oh Yeah, it looks good.

- Difficult to use. Slow to start. No use trying to set to record at the last minute because it takes ages. Don't bother with this unit.

+ Built in Digital tuner. Can transfer films from Sky Plus to DVD. Works well as a DVD player, and plays multi format disks (including CD's). Play's mp3 disks.

- A few coasters created - disks partially written that couldn't then be used by this device or any other.

+ Excellent design - Samsung's trade mark black gloss and neon blue light looks great! The user interface is very simple and easy to use, and after connecting the relevant cables, it was up and running within a few minutes. I think you'll struggle to find a better, recognised brand, device for the price.

+ Cheap, and good looking.

- Difficult to use, very noisy. When I read the reviews I noticed a lot about the noise, but I didn't think it was that bad. I would suggest you look at a different player if it's for bedroom use. Actually I would just suggest in general to look at different brands.
