Very pleased

+ Superb picture. I compared side-by-side with an expensive Philips and Sony Bravia, the Samsung was the best picture and looked more aesthetically pleasing.

Had to buy the Home Cinema to get the sound quality!

+ Excellent product, and fits snugly into any corner of the room, or on the wall! I bought two of them! (One earlier than this one and slightly larger)

- Set-up far too complicated, and I still cannot find where to alter the picture brightness, even when I go into the menus, they are still complicated.

+ Looks stunning (anyone who sees it says so), Excellent value for money, Top brand, HD picture is beautiful, Great connectivity (HDMI, Component - though component is rubbbish, PC, 2 scarts..), Excellent swiel stand.

- Rubbish and ugly remote, Menus could be better, standard definition quality isnt great (though this is normal with HD TVs), Cant turn it off properly without unplugging it (Environmentally unfriendly!), gloosy surface shows dust. To be honest though all these "bad points" are minor, except for the remote.

+ Very smart design, can be placed anywhere. Fantastic picture quality and sound and setup is very easy. Very nice tele if you want one for your bedroom, highly recommended

+ Good contrast and sharp image on most channels. Nice radio, and takes over much of the need of a music system. Nice DVD feature. Easy to use menus on screen. Good style. Still haven't seen any to beat it at this size or smaller and would stay with this range for larger screens as well.

- As complex as a VCR. Need to be "computer" illerate to operate all it's features. For me I would rate it 9/10 but this was purchased for an OAP, in a retirement home & the tiny remote buttons are hard to use. The multiple menu, options and finding channels too complex. Freeview needed to get Ch5. On weak signals (ITV1, ITV2 etc) very poor performance. Some DVD playback grainy which is not noticed on the 22" computer CRT or 25" Sony Triton. Gets very hot, more than any in the shops where they have also been on all day - confined room perhaps to open shop.

+ Bought this for elderly mother who absolutely loves it.Picture quality excelent,self tuning, dead easy!

- Elderly mother bit deaf volume range could be better.

+ Excellent picture quality, particularly in HD. A PS3 connected via HDMI looks awesome! The styling is excellent aswell, really cool, modern looking.

+ Looks great, self set up is good. Picture quality on digital is very good.

- Sound volume is considerably lower on digital than analogue--so needs regular adjustment because:- the set is much more sensitive to signal quality than my old CRT set--we constatly lose the digital signal--7-10 times per evening. I appreciate this is not inherently the fault of the set, but until I arrange for Sky or a booster it is a very annoying problem.

- cant get some of the freeview programmes

- If i had to say anything it is that colour contrast is hard to get just right, a built in test card would be good, but i suspect all TV's of this type are the same
