I love it to bits

Doesn't automatically change input when an aux device (games console/DVD player/etc) is switched on. You have to cycle through the input select options until you find the right one. There is a shortcut key for HDMI input on the remote control. Other than this, brilliant !

Screen picture is brilliant, especially when viewing new movies on DVD or sky.

Need to make sure you have enough distance away from the TV or else you can see the pixels too clearly, also you may find if you have any VHS videos left, the quality is pretty poor, especially older ones.

This looks the business, even with power saving enabled it still looks great. I was amazed at how much heat was generated from an LCD TV, putting energy saving to MEDIUM made a very big difference to the heat and the picture is only a little darker which you wouldn't notice if you didn't know. I wonder how much power it's using now? as it uses 180 watts usually.

The factory default settings are rubbish. I wondered what I had bought when I first turned it on. The preset modes such as SPORT or GAME are naff the sound is awful. Even when connected to external speakers the sound has so much high end it hurts your ears. BUT.... spend some time with the Graphic Equaliser and you will be reawarded with some decent sound. Also the picture colour needed calming a bit as reds and greens weren't nice.

Lovely clear picture after a bit of tweaking, easy to setup, nice user friendly menu's, easily wall mounted.

default picture settings are poor, you have to tweak the contrast, backlight and brightness otherwise it is a bit blocky and faces have red spots. Aerial input is not very well placed if you wall mount, it gets crushed against the wall with a fixed mounting bracket.

Its a very good product and easily worth the price i paid for it. The picture quality on both analogue and digital channels is extremely good and i was pleasantly surprised with the high level of quality with the low price tag. The TV looks very modern and stylish and is the perfect size to play high definition gaming - for example through a playstation 3 games console.

Make sure that before you buy the TV you have an external house aerial fitted otherwise the incorporated freeview box will not receive any channels. Its also a good idea to have an amplifyer attached to your house aerial to boost the signal and increase the number of freeview channels you can access. If wanting to use the TV to play on a games console in High Definition then a HDMI cable is required - this is not suplied with the TV and can be bought in most technology shops that sell Playstation 3's or blue-ray disk players

Looks excellent, great picture, sounds fine. Really easy to setup. Amazing value for money.

Power cable comes out at 90 degrees from the back, instead of pointing downwards. It made mounting it flush to the wall much more difficult. The wall mounting (as far as I can tell) is not the standard Vesa system. It appears to be some Samsung specific thing, which was REALLY annoying.

Very clear picture and very good sound quality. Sleek good looking black TV fits well with our decor and we have had many good complements.

Attracts dust like there's no tommorrow!!!!!! And so does the matching black glass stand.

Great size, price and picture quality

Built in digital reciever stoped picking up the channels within a week, while my digital recorder still picks up the channels, strange. Digital picture quality is also lost when an external digital reciever is used.

Looks great, picture quality very close to full hi-def quality- better than all other products in the price range and as good as more expensive sets. The sound quality is brilliant considering that the speakers are small and downward-facing, connectivity is exillent- loads of input & outputs, menus easy to use & the remote control is easy to use with a good layout.

When using a HDMi cable between the TV and a DVD player- if you just want to play a CD on the DVD unit, the TV comes on automatically- no big deal but an unessicsary waiste of energy.

So far I've only used this at SD resolution (with a Virgin cablebox, via RGB over SCART) but it does a very impressive job. Minimal scaling artifacts, the image is sharp, clear and colourful and the sound is perfectly loud and clear enough (in that I only tend to run it at about 15 out of 50!). The design of the case is drop-dead gorgeous, and it's still surprisingly easy to move. It's got a ton of connections on the back, the remote is easy to get around and fundamentally it was a reasonably purchase for a 32" LCD...

Takes about 7-10 seconds to actually switch itself on. Default settings are oversaturated and pushed too far on contrast, so a tiny bit of reconfiguration is required. The glossy finish on the surround can get a little dusty..

SOUND WAS TERRIBLE

Great value for money, Lots of inputs including 3 HDMIs and VGA. Perfect for HD Gaming at 720p or 1080i. Sexy piano black finish even if it is a fingerprint and dust magnet

Not Full HD (1080p), although the price makes up for this. I discovered the minor problem of being unable to use a line in sound source whilst viewing VGA(PC) but this isn't a problem if you plan to use an external sound setup anyway.

For the value, this is a great product. Have had no problems so far (touch wood), picture quality is decent, excellent number of connections, Freeview reception is great (even with a cheap aerial), set-up was a doddle and aesthetically looks the business. Haven't tested any HD sources yet, so got that to look forward to!

Sound is a bit on the flat side, but if your using an external speaker system, this isn't an issue. Changing ext sources is a bit slow, and it would have been great to have a PC/TV PIP. Oh well, can't have it all!

Bought as a present for mother, no problems with it, she thinks it's really good and the sound is great. seen it myself it looks and sounds good.

Fantastic look and design, great sound quality and takes up a lot less space than the old 32 inch tube TVs.

Picture quality is not as good on LCD TVs as on the tube TVs, and can look slightly pixelated espeacially when watching football.

Great product, and still smitten about this stylistic and sleek tv. Image quality is superb and mine's not even connected to a true HD source yet. I work in tv production myself so there were centain quality standards I expected.

Be prepared to hook up your sound system to this to get the full cinematic experience but the built in speakers surfices for normal tv viewing

The design, and connectivity

I am having problems with the picture. The picture just not seem real, faces are very pasty and seem to lack the variation in colour and texture you would expect, giving them sometimes an almost cartoon type appearance

We already had a samsung television in the kitchen and was so pleased with it, we knew when the one in the lounge went it would be a samsung again. The picture quality is excellent, the sound is excellent, we especially loved the sleek design............would thoroughly reccommend it.

when you hit the power button it take a few seconds before it actually comes on.. not sure if this is common with all LCD TV's

Digital programme guide/info is not as good as my old digital set top box. No power off switch so you have to leave the tv on standby unless you turn off at the plug.

The only thing we like bout this television is the design.

My parents bought this design when it first came out approx 3 years ago and the picture and sound quality are superior to the on we have purchased.The image quality is particularly poor.

Takes a while to turn over channels & there is no TV guide on screen whilst scrolling through channels (like with Freeview), but doesn't take long to get used to TV guide Menu option.

Good VALUE and QUALITY HD TV and would love to buy another for the bedroom! Great size, fits in living room without being overpowering and would fit in a bedroom as a nice large tv Smart design (like all samsung tv's) Beautiful Picture with HDMI cable connecting PS3 loads of inputs and outputs do me fine as i now only use HDMI and the one for connecting digital camcorders is easily accesible on the side GREAT THINKING!!!! Good remote layout, quickly changes form HDMI to DTV etc everyone comments on how sleak and subtle it is!

Terrestrial tv (1-5) poor picture and grainy and never used as Freeview is PERFECT picture quality Attracts fine white dust like crazy although this can only be seen at unwatchable angles anyway, and not all the time Can't seem to turn it off standby (Red Light) apart from the wall but that's probably a user error on my behalf! Putting the stand on was a nerve wracking balancing act on my own and 2 bottom screws didn't feel like they were housed fully however on closer inspection the bottom set are not as deeply recesed as the top ones. Wait and get a mate to help!

This is a beautifuly designed tv which looks fantastic, lots of features and very adaptable. Picture quality is great, particularly when running a games machine (which seems to be able to run at 1080i althought the tv is only rated at 720) and the srs trusound is great. Great quality, name and features, best for the money!

The only bad point i would say is that the changing of channels is a little slow.

The only bad point i can see is the speakers, they tend to vibrate on some channels if turned up to much, so its a good idea to add seperate speakers to the tv.

Good picture, good looking and good value for money

There's only one component in socket and there is no audio input for the VGA connection.

Excellent image quality, design is very modern and sleek . The controls on side of TV are simple to use and the remote though rather large is pretty self explanatory . It was very easy to set up with the auto tune even for someone who is not particularily good with technology!! The menu is very comphrensive and for the majority of tasks easy to explore and change values though I found the majority of the factory settings ok for me . Overall I am very impressed with this TV

The only negative is that the sound quality is not as good as I had hoped for in such a quality television and I find I have to have the volume higher than on another TV I have in order to get the equivalent sound

Looks great in shiny black, has good picture on SD freeview and looks stunning with 720p HD material. Swiveling stand is very handy. Looks great paired up with my ps3 playing games and dvd's through the hdmi.

brilliant picture with hd movies, still very good with low resolution movies, 3 hdmi:)) , optical out for sound; very easy to set up, works very, very good as a monitor for my pc through dvi-hdmi cable (remember to put in "hdmi 2") and ideal for xbox360 (even for very fast games)

Picture & sound very good, loads of option's settings to get the final picture/sound of your choice. Also very easy to navigate through menu options. Design of telly very nice as well.

A little slow to respond when turning on via your remote control, but thats all, the telly is great.

I think the picture quality is great and its a nice design.

I wasn't very impressed with the sound quality of the model i puchased the le23r87bdx last year and this had a lot beeter sound. I find that the sound on this model sounds muffled.

Remote control analogue/digital button poorly positioned near to ON/OFF button for elderly people. When moving the forefinger forward they cannot understand why they're just changing the channel or, worse, getting a different channel according to what happens to be selected in the other mode of reception.

The image quality cant be faulted and the tv has alot of extras so you can improve sound and quality when watchig a film etc

The freeview installed in the tv is great when you can pick up a signal, and the image quality is better on freeview. However the menu option with the tv listings is very slow and sommetimes makes a buzzing sound when it cant process what your wanting.

Picture quality is not as good as expected, can't seem to get it right. you get the picture right on one channel and then on another one its poor

does not record programs or if it does i cant find out how. has two scart sockets but if you use one for sky the other fails to work, you have to unplug sky each time. heaven help you if it is being delivered by DHL. I have never come across inefficiency like it.
