+ Cropping I can sometimes make 3 or 4 pictures out of 1 image. Or think I've made a mess of the picture and find something really good tucked in the corder.

- Well a bit to learn on my part but I will happily learn by my mistakes. The book is always their for a helping hand but theirs nothing like trial and error.

+ A lot of features, size and weight is excellent, design is brilliant, image is very good. The value for money at the time of purchase was certainly nothing less then 10 out of 10.

- Can be complicated owing to the number of options available. There is in fact a combinations of buttons from the back panel and the tiny wheel on top.

+ A very good compact camera, light weight and very easy to use. Have'nt used the timer feature or video camera, but as a basic camera it's fine.

- The camera would'nt shut off once, but this was fixed by opening the battery compartment and removing the battery partially. No other probems.

+ The Samsung P1000S Camera is light weight, very user friendly and takes a very high quality digital image, I would thoroughly recommend this to all ages.

- There aren't many bad points to the camera, my one small nit pick would be the turn dial aspect of the camera, where by you can choose whether it is light or dark for example. This often changes on its own accord when kept in a case or pocket because it is on the top of the camera.

+ brilliant image quality, easy to use and syncs well with computer. Very nice and stylish and compact, great for snapshots and for good high quality images.

- can't take general wear and tear to well. i have had 2 now and the screen has just broken on second one. but depends on what you use the camera for.

+ My girlfriend loves the colour, size and picture quality. We found it easy to use without reading the manual - not that there was much of one and were happilty taking photos throughout her birthday.

- Not really used it enough yet but i think the manual could/should be better.

+ Easy to use, slim (so fits into a small place) nice look and compact. No problem to transfer photos onto the PC. They were very clear. Pleased with the item because it has everything Im looking for in a camera. Im in my 50s so didn't want a complicated camera! I would recommend this camera to anyone.

+ The help feature is useful. It's very easy to point and shoot.The colour (purple) is great. Very good size - small enough to be light weight, but the viewing screen is big. Face recognition and self portrait features make taking pictues of me and my friends very easy with good results.

- In bad light there is a bit of a lag for button press to picture being taken (only a minor gripe).

+ The quality of pictures is superb, thanks to the 10 mega pixels. Very easy to use, 10/10 for all parts of the camera, I love it! Battery life is brilliant, it's lasted me three nights out so far and the battery is only half gone, and I took about 200 photos in that time, so i'm pretty impressed.

+ The camera was very reasonably priced and I find that it takes good quality images when used properly. The plug in charger is very handy also.

- Sometimes the camera can be difficult to use appropriatly, more instruction on the actual taking of photographs efficiently should be provided.

+ Very compact so I don't have to compromise on space in my handbag when taking it out with me. Great quality pictures, and several easy to use features, which makes taking pictures more fun. Video quality very good and it picks up sound really well.

- A little difficult to figure out which setting to use at night, as the 'scene' mode, which is meant for night time pictures, actually doesn't come out as well as just using the auto function with the flash.

+ got nice little features where you can change the picture to black/white, serpia etc. quick and easy yet good quality snaps, the battery lasts for a long time aswell... i was going to opt for a more expensive camera at the time but decieded to try this one out and was more than happy with the purchase!

+ Image quality is excellent, the size of the camera makes it much easier to take places because its small and quite light.

- Can be quite hard to take pictures while zoomed in as they easily become fuzzy.

- Is a little plasticy, menu on the time and date is very confusing still cant seem to set it right. Have yet to find a setting that is good at night, photos seem to be blurry unless you use a tripod etc, needs to be dead still. Other than that great holiday camera.

+ Relatively simple to use. Handy pocket size. Big viewing screen. Battery seems to last ages before charging. I liked the USB and charging cables being the same and not having two seperate ones.

- Manual being on the CD. I have just fumbled around and found how it works by trial and error really. It should have been clearer that you can only take about 3 pictures with the internal memory and the memory card is essential. A case would have been nice too.

+ I bought this as a first digital camera for my 10 year old son and within 30 minutes of opening it, he was taking photographs, zooming in, viewing and deleting images without any problems or assistance.

- Battery doesn't have a separate charger unit - you plug the whole camera into the mains instead - which makes it a bit difficult to have a spare battery ready charged, but this is a really minor problem that can be overcome with a bit of forethought.

- There are some functuons of the camera that are not explained in the manual and also the camera case/ material could be stronger because it fell down from my hand while on holiday and part of the control nob on it chopped away including some bits by the side (which I believe should not be).
