+ Nice looking, fairly easy to set up, picture is very good but I have seen better on bigger screens and wanted to see this here but saying that most LCD's and Plasma's I have seen seem to settle down and improve after a few months use so I expect this one will be like that too and it already has a very good picture. I did wonder if the weakness in perfect picture quality was to do with the fact you are asking it to be a monitor and a TV, ie can a screen be perfect for both or will one suffer at the expense of the other to get one that is near perfect.

- No on/off button, has to be switched on and off via remote which could be considered a good point in some ways, depends how you feel about that.

- The fitted internal speakers are small and so Sound quality and volume poor. Buyers should therefore factor in the expense of having to buy an external speaker system.

+ Attractive, modern. Excellent picture quality - no dead pixels. Choice of inputs means can use for PC, PS3, Sky+ through TV channel AND/OR Freeview. Remote control functions are good.

- There is wobble on the stand but as ours is on a solid surface it doesn't affect using it. Took a while to set up.

+ The picture quality is out of this world. It is also very simple to set up.

- There was no user manual with the set, but you can easily download an electronic version from the Samsung web site. The mains cable provided with the set keeps sparking and causing the TV to cut-out. It is a standard cable and I just have to buy a replacement.

- Bought two sets one has a problem with pixel dropout. Got to take it back it back to a service centre for repair (only two months old).

+ I use this as a TV for the bedroom. The setup was incredibly simple, just switch it on and follow the instructions, 2 mins later it's ready to go. Picture is superb on digital freeview channels. Very easy to use. Digital TV makes full use of the 20" widescreen without and noticible stretching or cropping, though you can set it to have black bars at the top and bottom if you choose.

- Sound was a little tinny when I first set it up when compared to the old 14" CRT, but after a while you don't notice it and it sounds fine. The black plastic finish is a magnet to dust.

+ Brilliant picture quality. I have had Sky+ HD fitted and the TV/Monitor has made it all worthwhile. Simple to set up. Just connect and away you go. Easy menu to alter any settings. Well thought of remote, nothing to confuse you with. It does exactly as advertised. I found it cheaper to buy this HD TV/Monitor than a seperate HD TV. All the connection leads come with it, so you dont have to spend anymore money to get it using as soon as you take it out of the box.

+ I was looking for a LCD monitor which can be used as a TV. After lots of research, I found that this monitor comes with TV tuner with excellent contrast ratio and multiple input sockets. Also looks of this monitor is great. I can play Xbox and PS3 on it. I can see Freeview channels. I can do many things.. No need to fight to watch footy and movie at the same time. :)

+ The samsung I bought from Dixons had the sofware/firmware that worked! the sound, picture and TV functions are brilliant for the price. I believe this is as very good TV. I use mine in the bedroom and it is perfect, it does not have wall mounting brackets but i knew that, for those who would require such a function be aware. The style is also another plus point and the remote is easy to use. I've read reviews moaning about the sound quality, if this was a tv for your lounge maybe they're right but for the bedroom/ second TV the sound and pictuere is perfect.

- The fist Samsung I bought was from a well known shop related to the indian food dish. They had the TV with the old software/firmware. the TV randomly turned it's self off and on and was of poor quality. I took it back and bought a new one from Dixons. Dixons TV was/is perfect.

- I WISH THERE HAD BEEN AN INSTRUCTION BOOK AND NOT A CD. I HAVE YET TO ACCESS THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CD BECAUSE I FIND IT NOT EASY TO READ THE INFO OFF A SCREEN AND FEED THE INFORMATION INTO THE TV. THE MAIN DIGITAL/HD READY TV IN THE HOUSE IS A PANASONIC WHICH CAME WITH EXCELLANT INSTRUCTIONS IN A BOOK AS DID THE PANASONIC DVD RECORDER. I COULD READ THESE BOOKS IN THE COMFORT OF AN ARMCHAIR TO GET A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE EQUIPMENT
