+ The set can be turned off by pressing the on/off button. Most sets cannot be turned off this way, they have to remain on 'standbye' for which there is a cost in power.

- The stand is bolted to the set and the screen cannot be set at an angle it has to remain in the vertical position.

+ tv is exactly what it says it is. like the fact it is "matt" rather than "shiney" black - easier to keep clean. i have it for the kitchen and it is just the right size to fit under the unit - a little bigger than your average "portable" tv. very pleased with it.

- only niggle is that the remote is sensitive and only works aimed directly at a certain point on the tv whereas other tv's seem to work from the remote from a wider angle. wouldn't let it put you off.

+ Picture and sound quality are excellent, even though we use a portable indoor aerial, much better than expected.

+ Sony products have a excellent repretation for design and quality, theres probably better products on the market however Sony tvs are akin to VWs for being of good quality products not the cheapest but over all value for money and ease of mind.

+ The HD picture is very good as I find the contrast from very bright to deep black is superb with all shades noticeable. There are two scart sockets and the viewing angle is pretty good. This is not just a set carrying the Sony badge, it is worth every penny as Digital freeview is added and it tunes all the channels automatically. There is a good remote control and it is a nice TV for the bedroom or kitchen. I bought a PS3 and the picture becomes even better when a game or movie is played. a second HDMI would have been useful

- There is only one hdmi socket, two would have been better. I bought two of these Televisions, one before Christmas costing £100 extra, therefore glad I only purchased one at the time. I also never ever give full marks for surveys, so to let the manufactures to improve on the product. So this is a very good review from me.

+ The TV has a very good picure quality, but the best point for this TV is that the Sound Quality and Power seems to be far better than any of it's rivals (for this sized screen) that I have come across. This was the main reason for buying this model.

- Picture can be a little grainy close up. But from a short distance this seems to no longer be a problem. Could it be part of it's design? I don't know.

+ Neat and ideal for a small area, where you don't want a great big tv taking up the whole room. The design with its simple Sony label is alot more eye catching than alot of its competitors, great aesthetic appeal. Easy controls and the picture and sound quality are second to none. All round, very good value for money.

+ Easy to set up, great picture and sound. Superb all round design. Tried two 19" Samsungs (which both had faults and had to be returned) prior to buying this TV. Am glad I decided to pay a bit extra for the Sony as this is the best TV I have ever owned. If you're looking for a top quality portable I would recommend this one 100%.

+ Sturdy stylish design with all the Sony quality. Price and delivery was excellent.

- Disappointed in the picture quality. Although the look angle and sharpness were great, the colour temperature could only be adjusted in one of three settings. Cold Normal or Warm. Cheaper sets have many more colour controls.

+ Sony quality, excellent as always. Neat design, great picture and sound and very easy to operate. So good I bought a second one for a relative.

- The remote control buttons are very small. A bigger handset to accommodate larger buttons would have been better. Not a "show stopper!"

+ The Sony KDL20S3000U is without doubt the best TV that I have ever purchased. The image, sound quality and design are excellent. The initial set-up is simple to follow and the instruction manual is straight forward and uncomplicated. Altogether, an extremely great piece of kit.
