Sony KDL20S3000 Reviews: Bravia, 20" Screen LCD HD Ready TV

+ Excellent 2nd slim TV(eg Kitchen) particularly when mounted on wall & base removed.Easy to setup & operate with "built in"freeview.

- Hard to find! Perhaps some of the colours are a bit too much & it is not easy to improve the "flesh tones".

+ Easy to set up, great picture and sound. Superb all round design. Tried two 19" Samsungs (which both had faults and had to be returned) prior to buying this TV. Am glad I decided to pay a bit extra for the Sony as this is the best TV I have ever owned. If you're looking for a top quality portable I would recommend this one 100%.

+ The HD picture is very good as I find the contrast from very bright to deep black is superb with all shades noticeable. There are two scart sockets and the viewing angle is pretty good. This is not just a set carrying the Sony badge, it is worth every penny as Digital freeview is added and it tunes all the channels automatically. There is a good remote control and it is a nice TV for the bedroom or kitchen. I bought a PS3 and the picture becomes even better when a game or movie is played. a second HDMI would have been useful

- There is only one hdmi socket, two would have been better.
I bought two of these Televisions, one before Christmas costing £100 extra, therefore glad I only purchased one at the time.
I also never ever give full marks for surveys, so to let the manufactures to improve on the product. So this is a very good review from me.

+ Sony quality, excellent as always. Neat design, great picture and sound and very easy to operate. So good I bought a second one for a relative.

- The remote control buttons are very small. A bigger handset to accommodate larger buttons would have been better. Not a "show stopper!"

+ The Sony KDL20S3000U is without doubt the best TV that I have ever purchased. The image, sound quality and design are excellent. The initial set-up is simple to follow and the instruction manual is straight forward and uncomplicated. Altogether, an extremely great piece of kit.

+ This is a great second television, eg for a bedroom. I bought the Sony as it had much better sound than some other makes of the same size. Decent picture and easy setup.

Good picture, but somewhat limited viewing angle

- There are some minor useablity irritations:
Switching on by pressing (say) channel button 2 does not appear to change to channel 2. It just switches on and you have to change channels afterwards.
You do not appear to be able to change channels with the signal strength displayed. (This only matters when adjusting an aerial).

When used as PC monitor could only get it to use part of screen size. Might be my lack of knowledge rather than shortcoming of TV.
