Sony MHC-RG595

The system sounds brilliant with its horn tweeters because some stereos miss out of the detailed high fequences that you need from a hi-fi system. There is no loss off bass with the subwoofer which really gives a good kick to your music and makes it a lot more enjoyable than not having a subwoofer. The system is very stylish, while still looking aggresive and delivers as good as it looks. Also the seperate EQ of bass, midrange, and trebble is brilliant because you can control every aspect of how you want your speakers to sound.

I have had to change the layout of the Hi-Fi as i cannot have the speakers near the Hi-Fi operation unit. When i turn the volume up to the 20 mark my cd starts jogging because the bass of the speakers shakes the unit too much, so now the speakers are moved well away from the unit. I think for a sony the sub could sound a bit smoother as it likes to sound punchier rather than smooth, but they do call it a mega bass subwoofer, probably for that reason. Correct me if im wrong. One last thing, the price of the stereo was a tad high, but i suppose you are paying for a sony, which i hope will last for a long time.

Sound is superb, particularly with the sub-woofer turned on. This product is a fantastic hi-fi.

Speaker cables too short and I had to extend them. Only reason for marking the design down is Sony should have fitted push-fit speaker connections on the speakers, to allow the speaker cables to be entirely replaced by longer cables (rather than my having to use in-line cable connectors hidden behind shelving).

Great sound and bass and it looks very nice in a room. There is no distortion at high levels of sound.

Does take up alot of space and the speaker wires are short.(2m)

Very powerful and bse unit protects the system from kids over setting volume to a level that broke several units!!!

What is good about this product is the fact its the first time ever coming across such a music system with brillianf fixtures i do really love it.

What is bad about despite the brochure on how to operate it should a bit more simple to understand.

Good looks, excellent sound, easy to use audio in. (have my TV playing through it).

Great Sound Quality for a small Sound system! Extremely powerful!

Lost settings when powered off. Lack of external ports for plugging external devices. The main unit is quite Bulky and heavy to carry.
