+ Bought this for my 15 year old son and he had it set up and running in a matter of minutes. Sounds and looks good.

- Haven't found any bad points as yet!

+ it is exactley what I wanted after searching the list of dab radios

- Sony products have very few bad points they are quality through and through

+ Good reception and sound. Fairly easy to use. Display is clear and back light is useful in low light conditions.

- The buttons could be more clearly labelled.

- No tone etc adjustments.Sound a bit tinny.No alarm or auto on function.

+ Not a lot. Compact size, so can fit in constricted space, room.

- Reception - I have other Dab radio's that pick up all available stations, but this one doesn't. Slow scanning if power removed and switched on again. Very low maximum volume. Very light and easily knocked over. Disappointing product from Sony - it, and others, have produced a much better product for a few £'s more. My advice is don't buy unless....... well to be honest, I can't find a reason to buy this model.

+ very handy around the house and light to carry and also giving very clear talking programes from such a small set

- The batteries do not last very long and wondering if you can fit re-chargeable ones

+ We bought this for camping, great size and great sound. We had to take it outside to get the signal but once it was tuned in we could take it back into the tent with no worries. Reception was usually around 60, but this obviously changes where ever you are in the country. Not a hassle though, would definitly recommend this item.

+ Easy to programme DAB radio, with great sound quality on both radio and cd . With the added advantage of playing 3 cd,s albeit with a somewhat noisy mechanism.

- Noisy cd player. Archaic 2m wire ariel ( where do you put it ?).

+ the Best thing about this is that it uses AA batteries, (when not using mains) So that it is trully portable.
I have 2 other DAB radios that use C cells. they are expensive to run. but with AA cells you can buy a reasonably priced Chargeable unit and batteries for less than (£20 From Tesco)that not only charges via mains but by CAR 12v charger. SO if the mains charger packed up, it wouldn't be expensive to run this unit.

- Batteries flatten very quickly and station settings are lost every time you change them

+ Neat design, easy to use.

- Battery life seems poor - first set of batteries were used within a couple of weeks. But could have been the batteries themselves so have kept a note when they were fited to see how long they last. Only have radion on for roughly 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night so should last decent time. Otherwise product is ok.

- poor reception, poor sound quality, only 3 presets, awkward to set presets.

- not bad but addition of inboard charger would be 10/10
