+ State of the art styling combined with good shelf space for easy of flexibility.
- Being black glass it shows up every particle of dust (so requires frequent dusting)

+ Looks good. Very well made,I phoned the manufacturer twice and they were very helpful
- Cable management could be better

+ Fairly straight forward to set up and stylish
- The Bottom shelf is way too narrow in height - most decent amplifiers need breathing space above them and so I now have the Amplifier on the top shelf to the left. It can't go Central because the main pillar butts straight on to the shelf, there is no where for the cables to connect to the back of the amplifier. Secondly the so-called "cable management" is a hole! Nowhere to channel cables in the main pillar to the TV for instance.

+ This tv stand is a perfect size for the average size lounge. It looks great with our plasma tv on it. The shelves which are black glass clean up beautifully.
- Its such a shame it has no cable management otherwise this item would be perfect. but for what we paid it is still excellent value or money.

+ Nice styling - fits into corner location perfectly.
- 42 inch TV sits a bit high - I cut down the main support column by 6 inches to bring TV down to normal viewing eye level, and to also make TV and stand look more integrated and balanced.

- Despite being advertised as a universal fitting I had to purchase my own screws as those supplied did not fit my TV (Which is a Panasonic - not exactly an uncommon TV)

+ extremely good value for a well designed stylish piece of furniture . very easy to put together using the very clear and intuative instructions .Its a substancial piece of furniture with good ballance , supporting the 42" lcd safely. shelf space is good we keep the top shelf clear , the bottom shelf fits our amp,dvd,ps3,sky box easily there is also enought room to fit the Wii in there (but we dont because it is white and looks odd)
- the units weak point is cable tidying there is a hole in the upright at the back to feed cables but they are not "hidden" although with carefull positioning none of the cables are visable and there is enough room underneath the bottom shelf to hide our 6 way belkin surge protector.

+ THE STYLE OF THE UNIT IS A HALFWAY MODEL BETWEEN A PEDASTAL AND A WALL SETUP. IT IS STYLISH AND REALLY SETS OFF THE 42 INCH PANASONIC TV.
- THE CABLE MANAGEMENT IS POOR AND COULD BENEFIT FROM A MODIFIED DESIGN AND EVEN CABLE GRIPS. AS A POINT OF INFORMATION FOR OTHER CUSTOMERS..... WHEN FITTING THE TV TO THE BRACKET ALL THE SUPPLIED BOLTS/SCREWS ARE NOT NEEDED..... ONLY THE 4 NEEDED FOR YOUR TV ARE NEEDED

+ price good looks
- supplied fittings and screws were incorrect length for my TV. no cable management as such other than holes in bottom shelp for plugs to slot through but none for cable from telly to shelves that could have run behind arm.

+ very sturdy construction, and easy to adjust,it also looks good as well
- the plastic bits could be moulded a bit better
07 Nov 2007

- Zero cable-management... all the cables look like a plate of spaghetti
27 May 2008

+ design looks good, superficially
- impossible to set up, nightmare stability of the stand not comforting at all

+ sturdy, nicelooking..well priced
- glass was scratched and was easily broken when installing the iron rod. luckily the plastic pillar sleeve covered the splint so I refrained from moaning. feet and silver parts look abit cheap.

+ It is great looking and i like the shelf space.
- I found it to be very difficult to set up and was under the impression that the cable management was more than just a hole.
08 Dec 2007
Joanne, London
+ Looks great - TV at right height
- Bracket is in the way of the scart points on the tv, making it awkward to insert scart leads
05 Nov 2007
Tanya, Reading
+ GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
- THE CABLE MANAGEMENT WASNT WHAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE, THOUGHT YOU COULD RUN THE CABLES THROUGH THE SILVER CYLINDER SECTION.
05 Nov 2007
Abraham, Larkhall
+ Design and strength.
- Cable management is very poor no facility to hide cables leading from shelf to TV. Also very difficult to move once TV is mounted.
04 Nov 2007
Rachel, Leicester
+ holds my 50inch tv fine , looks fab nice and neat and modern, good and solid
- would only improve the cable management would be best if the wires were to go down the pole but still looks neat
18 Dec 2007
Sheryl, Chester
+ clear instructions - all components marked, well packaged and quality built
- no instructions for screw connections for back of telly, cable tidy poor and the main stem does seem to have some movement!

+ stylish unit works well
- none
30 Mar 2008
Stephen, Cambridge
+ looks great, solid construction
- none, for me cable management is not a problem - I only use the top shelf for small speakers and I have three boxes on the bottem shelf that are quite wide so you don't see the cables behind, easy enough to bind the cables to the TV together so they are hidden behind the central strut.
14 May 2008
Douglas, Wemyss Bay, Scotland
+ price and value for money
- no cable management
29 Jan 2008
Colette, Carlisle
+ Stylish and unusual stand. Good instructions for assembly.
- Quite expensive No cable tidy facilities.
28 Jan 2008
Adam, London
+ Does look good
- No cable management so you need to work out your own way to control the leads behind the centre support. Also the mount for the tv is of a general size and the screw provided didnt fit my 37'' Panasonic tv. I had to use a combination of screw length to attach the tv securely and even doing this meant I had to block the scart socket AV1 from being used. If possible try to find a stand that is approved by the tv manufacturer.

+ Excellent shelf space - plenty of room for DVD player, satellite box, games consoles, with room to spare, smart and stylish appearance, adds good looks to any room
- Hard to assemble on your own due to the weight and awkwardness of the glass shelves, two people would make lighter work of the assembly, had to source extra bolts to secure the screen to the bracket, the ones supplied were too long
28 Mar 2008
Peter, Blackpool
+ excellent and well built stand with plenty of room for dvd player and theatre system etc.a very nice looking stand.

- cable manangement not as good as I thought,
22 Dec 2007

+ Makes more of a feature of tv. Clean cut and easy on the eye.
- Due to location of scart sockets on tv had to ensure they were in before attaching to stand, which made the last little bit very fiddly.

+ Looks really good, stylish and sleek for the price, really sets off my 46inch plasma, reasonably easy to put together
- Cable management is non existant, but the use of some zip ties soon sorted that out!

+ Stylish.
- Needs 2-3 people to assemble. Silver coloured poles were marked in places.

+ Looks very stylish with a 42" Plasma. Shelves are wide enough to fit surround amplifier and dvd player side by side on the bottom, with centre speaker on the top shelf. Also,no sharp corners for kids to accidentally bang into. Great product.
- A bit tricky to erect with just one person, though it is possible. Constantly needs polishing as the black glass shows dust really badly (minor quibble).

- Cable management
13 Sep 2008
Keith, East Sussex
+ The look is good.
- the stand requires extra support in order for the screen to stay upright. The two rods that support the weight do not stop the screen from drooping forward or twisting about the upright.

07 Aug 2008
Julie, Sunderland, “Meticulous researcher ”
+ Looks very stylish. Although cables do not feed inside the stand it was easy to secure them behind and out of sight.
- The two metal poles that feed through the stand were secured into a metal base that should have been welded but was clipped instead. This resulted in them being twisted off easily making the stand unstable. I had to get it welded to ensure the stand was rigid.

+ The cables are very easy to hide behind the support so the unit looks very tidy.
- Black shows the dust!!!

+ Large glass shelf
- not strong enough. weight of television bends the stand forward and therefore the tv is not vertical. (37 inch panasonic plasma) I doubt if it would support a larger TV.
